That’s the fourth time you’ve saved my ass, Peter said, leaning against the wall to catch his breath and extract himself from Miguel. They’d both gotten badly hurt during the fight on Earth-11137 and were limping down the hallway in tandem, each keeping the other from collapsing. Peter had stopped bleeding finally, but Miguel hadn’t. His high-tech suit was torn open and his exposed shoulder had a big gash in it that was still oozing sluggishly.
