<h2>Challenges:</h2>Tokyo Dome had previously been organizing target hypotheses and current challenges within Tokyo Dome City. However, they were facing difficulties in translating the rich content and diverse customer segments within the City into concrete measures, strategic planning, and communication design.Therefore, they were seeking a partner who could provide end-to-end support, from formulating strategies to deploying actual measures, and further to developing and operating applications based on these efforts. <h2>Solutions:</h2>Monstarlab took the target hypotheses and current challenges identified by Tokyo Dome and redefined them from the perspectives of users, operations, and business.Furthermore, they created prototypes of solutions to address these challenges and conducted user testing.First, they brainstormed solution ideas for the redefined challenges, visualized these ideas using storyboards and other methods, and then prioritized them. Next, they created user story maps to functionalize the solution ideas, selected the features for the MVP (Minimum Viable Product), and formulated the product vision.For the MVP development, Tokyo Dome ventured into agile development for the first time. Monstarlab provided a uniquely customized agile development workshop for the company members with limited app development experience. Working closely with the Product Owner, they successfully achieved the initial app release within a short period of approximately 14 weeks.In addition to the app development, Monstarlab also supported the communication design aspect, focusing on how to express the world view of the Tokyo Dome City brand. This included creating the Tokyo Dome City app introduction website, designing banners for use on social media, and developing communication materials utilizing offline touchpoints such as flyers and digital signage.

<h2>Results:</h2>The app was successfully released on April 30, 2024. It has been recognized for its contribution to communicating the Tokyo Dome City brand's worldview as a means of customer communication and for providing a convenient and comfortable experience within Tokyo Dome City, earning a high rating of 4.3 stars on app stores (as of the end of July 2024).Furthermore, in September 2024, an illustrated map was additionally implemented to clearly represent the City's vast grounds and landmarks. This GPS-linked illustrated map allows users to vividly experience the Tokyo Dome City world even while searching for facilities or moving around.Currently, we are diligently progressing with regular agile improvements to the app, striving to provide new value that goes beyond simply solving user issues. Monstarlab will continue to work closely with the client, supporting business transformation through app and website improvement assistance.
