We just got back from a trip to Lego Land and the Beach. It was a BLAST! Scott and I and our 5 boys went on a trip with Nana and Papa Moore, cousins Lauren and Thomas Moore,Sarah, and Aunt Oletta Papa's sister. Here a a few pictures from our fun adventure!  Lego land is one of the boys favorite places including Scotts. After 2 days at Lego Land, Lego Water Park and Aquirum and 2 1/2 days at the beach it felt great to be home even if it was 110 in AZ

Camp Geronimo

Image
Scott was called as Scout Master several months ago after being released from serving on the High Council. He was able to go to Camp Geronimo. He had not been back there since he was a Wrangler there when he was in High School. He had a Great time. He was able to go to Girls Camp the past few years when on the High Council. When asked  by others which camp he preferred scout camp or girls camp? He said " Girls Camp!" haha, He was quite the favorite at Girls Camp, but he did enjoy Scout Camp and looks forward to going back next year.

On Saturday March 3rd 2012 Benjamin was Baptized. It was a very special day for us. He is a Great example to his brothers and friends. He is a great big brother and helper to me. Always caring and kind to those around him. We are proud of the young man he is becoming and the choices he is making in his life.

Growing up is hard to do

Image
Dillon has something to celebrate. Not only does he absolutely LOVE Hot Chocolate....but ....he is now  BINKI FREE!!! All 5 of my boys have been Binki babies. But so far Deedle has been the hardest to break.  He LOVED  that binki and with all the illness, and injuries, and having a new brother, his little life had been turned upside down these past 6 months. And he became even more dependent on the binki it was his security along with his blankie. So we let it slide for a while but once he hit 2 1/2 years old it was time to get serious.  2 weeks ago I took the binki away. (In the past he would go into hysterics and wild man tantrums if I did this without his permission) But 2 weeks ago one night as we were putting him to bed he asked for his "dink dink" as he called it, and I said I 'm sorry honey Binki is gone, it broke. Immediately he started to cry heart broken. (Which broke my heart too and I was soo ready to give it back.) And through his sobbs he repeated a conversation we had earlier in the week. " dink, dink for babies,..sobb....friends no have dink dink...sobbb... Ben, Quae, Jarebett no dink dink..sobb... Albee has dink dink..sobb...I yittle boy now" I said "yes honey your a little boy now dink dink is gone you still have your blankie you will be OK." he said ' OK"  stopped crying layed down and went to sleep and that was the end of the "precious"Dink Dink. I'm so proud of my little boy. Now onto potty training, which I know he is sooo ready to do. I just need to pep myself up for it. And get serious! ha!

A new Post can it be!?

These past 6 months have gone by in a blink of an eye!! So much has happened in our busy lives. Birthdays, Holidays, Family Trips, injuries, and just every day life has me running in circles like a Chicken with her head cut off. But this Mother Hen loves every moment of the crazy shuffle dance I call life. Here are a few pictures from the past 6 months...

Alvin was blessed in the same outfit as the rest of his brothers
5 weeks old he was blessed the 1st Sunday of September

Image
Poor Deedle slipped and fell in some gravel resulting in a Green Stick frature on his lower right leg by his ankle. The last Week of September he had his temporary cast for a week and his hard cast for 3 weeks.  That was one of the hardest 4 weeks we have had in a long time. I am not sure who's patience was tested more. Mine or His. But we made it!
