September...Another year older...

but I would wouldn't say...wiser too. It's so crazy how fast life seems to go. As I was picking up my boys from school today the principal wished us a good weekend and I could swear he said the same thing not 24 hrs previous. Of course, he didn't and it had truely been a week that had past. Life is kinda crazy right now. Between school, soccer practices twice a week and games on Saturdays, being the Bear leader for scouts and the new Cub Master life is slipping through my hands! Liam hates to sleep for longer than a half hour during the day and is up 2-3 times at night. He actually only got up once last night and it was so nice. We get uninvited guests in our bed at night and that also doesn't help with getting a full night sleep. Who am I kidding...I haven't had a full night sleep for almost a year. I know, I know let Liam just cry it out in his room. I would but he melts my heart with his sad, pathetic cry. What can I say... I am a sucker for my babies! Hyrum just reminded me of another issue I have, Liam loves to climb the stairs. He is very good and fast for a 8 mo old. I'm too old for this! I guess I better go clean up after the tornado that has been hitting all week! I know I haven't written very much, but thanks for taking the time to read about what's going on in my life right now, even if all I'm doing is complaining!!!

It's March 2011!!!

Okay, well I thought I would be better at writing, but I haven't!! So sad. Not sure if anyone out there will check this, but there is a chance, so here we go... UPDATE... life changed yet again in December meaning I HAD A BABY. Liam is awesome. Seriously the best baby yet. He is very easy going. This week I'll be going in to get his birth announcements done. So if you want one let me know. So, I now have 5 children. Hyrum is in 3rd grade, Peter in 1st and they are both involved in soccer. They started last November in a soccer club called Total Demise. So far, so good. They both really enjoy it. Hunter is in Preschool and might be playing soccer soon. He is quite the handful lately, but also my sweet little guy at times. Gracie is such a girl! She has the best facial expressions. She is starting to talk fairly well and will try to repeat everything I say especially when getting after the boys or the dogs! DogSSSS... yes, we have two now. We got our latest puppy a couple weeks ago and seems to be a good fit. I still stress about what the next several months will hold. Mmmm not sure, but a little excited about it. Never thought I would have a dog, and now we have two!

Looking forward to the future.

Well here it is... another post!!!

I am proud of myself for remembering to write. Yay, me!

Life has been so crazy! My boys will be finishing up another year of school in about a month. They both started playing soccer about a month ago so our once calm schedule has gotten a jolt of electricity. We have soccer practices three times a week, games on Saturdays that run anytime from 8 in the morning til 5 at night. Hunter goes to a speech class on Tuesdays and I have scouts Thursday nights with Hyrum. For those of you who don't know, and that's probably everyone, I am the new wolf/bear den leader in our ward/troop. It is lots of fun. I got released from the Primary presidency early Jan and have been loving getting to know the boys on a social level. So I have Sundays and Fridays that aren't totally crazy. The worst part of the whole thing is getting dinner done at a reasonable hour. It is tough, but the boys seem to be getting to bed early enough. They are pretty worn out by the end of the day, so am I!!!

So I want to hear about everyone else. I know Veronica and Sarah are probably pretty worn out having new babies and all. How are you dealing with it? Sarah, is it crazy having 2 now? Veronica how are the boys with Nathan? Kierstin, how are you doing with all 4 of yours? Are you running everyone everywhere? How old is Porter now? Will he have his driver's license soon? (V, how about Dakota? Is he close to driving?) I don't envy you guys. I dread the whole teaching the kids to drive.

Well, not sure if you guys want to hear all my vents with my house not staying clean. So I think I will skip that this time. Maybe next time!!! Would love to hear from you guys.

Chat again soon.

Time flies!

I can't believe it has been almost a month since I wrote last! Gracie is a month older, she is a crawlin' queen. She gets around everywhere! A few days after I put up the baby gate she was standing holding on to it. I am glad I put it up when I did. Like I said she is standing up holding onto things. She get ways too confident sometimes and will let go. It scares me to death. The rest of the kids are doing great. I am working with Peter on recognizing his letters and his sight words. Hyrum's homework has a lot of math, graphs, telling time and reading. He is doing great! Hunter is awesome and loves the simple things in life, it's so much fun to be with him. Ben and I celebrated our 10th anniversary. Wow! It seems like it was just yesterday then again it seems like forever. A lot has happened in the last ten years. I look forward to the next ten (well, not the having teenager part, that scares me)!!! Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for listening as I ramble on!

Back to School

The boys have been back to school now for a few weeks. To tell you the truth it has been nice getting back to a routine. Peter loves going to school, his teacher is very nice and everything a kindergarten teacher should be. Hyrum is doing good as well. He doesn't seem to be as enthusiastic as Peter, but he has been down this road before. His teacher is good as well, but a little more strick, which I think is good. He is older so more is expected of him. Hunter loves being home with me. He gets to basically do what he wants, so there is nothing really to complain about. Gracie is such a great baby. She is sleeping through the night most nights. Two of her teeth have broken through and she took her first crawling steps. Last Sunday she was 6 months and my goodness, time flies! Time is an odd thing, it seems like she was just born , but then again it feels like she has been in our lives forever. She truly is a sweetie! Ben is working hard and his company is doing well. I am staying busy and wish I could keep up with all the demands of 4 kids. I am not sure who all reads this, but I hope all is well in your homes and don't be shy, write a comment and let me know who you are and what you are up to. (I have a picture of the boys on their first day of school, but I am on Ben's computer so I will post it later)

Thanks to everyone who came and helped and made the reunion what it was. It was a lot of fun and I wish it could have lasted longer, but life is too busy. I understand that. The kids had so much fun playing with cousins, swimming, playing the games and running the races. I am so glad that we were able to go and catch up with all that were there. Special Thanks to Sezon for the pictures!
