Samus is a six foot three mostly serious and socially awkward buff lady who has some space bird DNA floating around in her genes and a biotech power suit bonded to her that makes her awesome at going into dangerous places and doing wonderful things like genociding bio-weapons.

She's a bounty hunter who doesn't really hunt bounties all that much and gets commissioned to go on crazy suicide missions like take on an entire army of space pirates single handed and wreck their shit. (Spoilers: she's really good at it.)

Her personal skills are a little lacking, though, as is her recognition of authority.
