As many of you of you who still check in on this journnal from time to time will realise, the recent changes to LJ T&Cs are not ones I can accept on any long term basis. It pained me to click agree 'agree' even though am here just tie up loose ends. I will be cancelling my subscription and deleting my account. It makes me deeply sad that I have to say good bye to LJ, even though my use of it has been minimal this last few years. Most of my life as it is now, happened because of friends I made on here. I can never regret that. What I can regret is that this once awesome site has been reduced to this mess.

Am not under the impression that anyone in Russia gives a flying fuck about my not-very-frequently-updated corner of LJ, but it matters to me that I don't give even the faintest hint that I agree to any of this evil, stupid, boring homophobic crassnes. I'm not going to make any difference by remaining here and pretending it's not happening. The only power I have is leaving and taking my money with me. 

I've been using Dream Width as a back up for LJ for years, so luckily it's not much hassle for me to make the change over. My user name there is Mother_Bones. If you make the journey over to DW, hit me up. say hi, even if it's been years.
