HI ALL!!!

Well as most of you should know, I got a job to be a property manager. The company is in Silver Spring, MD. I start on Monday, June 1. officially. That is not to say that I have not been doing other things to get ready for it. For the past 2 weeks the boss has been sending me daily e-mails of things that I will have to deal with so that I am not coming in completely blind. This is a good thing. They have paid for my Real Estate class that I took and they have sent me to an Engineering Management course with one of my two engineers. So I am in that class on Mondays till the end of June. It is an interesting class since I am the only female in the class and I'm the only non-engineer. They guys are all on their best language behavior. You can tell they are really trying to keep it clean.

Grayhawk and B head to Philly tomorrow at 7am for a field trip. They will be back late. I hope they have a great time sightseeing. F and I will get up at our "normal" hour. he and I will be on our own for the evening. We can have some mother/son time. Yeah!!

Hi all.

I know long time no chat. I went to a Nano kick-off party yesterday with my sister, Bonz, and daughter, B. We had a good time. We got a bag of goodies, had some good food. We did appetizers at Bertucci's. Met some new people and did few writing games. And now we are getting ready to start writing next week. B is now registered to do Nano for Young writers. So we shall see how we both do this year.

Keep good thoughts that we are able to finish this year.

My Dad died at Bethesda Naval Hospital on Dec 16, 2007. He had been in the hospital since before Thanksgiving. He was a West Point Graduate of the Class of 1945. He served in Korea, Vietnam, and Indonesia. He retired in 1973 and worked for Pertamina Oil Company based in Indonesia and Hong Kong. He had a long full life. He is joining his older Brother, Joe and his youngest son (my brother) Duke as well as his parents. He will be missed alot.
