MultiTech RadioBridge Sensor Decoder Update
Please be aware that when you upgrade a BACnet enabled gateway (MTCAP3-EN-A23xxx-LWM-BAC.R1) to mPower 7.0, all RadioBridge Sensor decoders are removed.
To restore missing or outdated BACnet sensor decoders, install the RBFix Custom App using the steps below.
Installation Steps
- Download the RBFix custom app from WebFiles
- Do not unzip the file.
- In the user interface, navigate to:
- Apps → Custom Apps
- Click Add Custom App, select the downloaded file, and then click Install Custom App.
What to Expect After Installation
- The BACnet decoders will be restored automatically.
- The decoder list will include the latest supported sensors.
- Note: Support for the CT300 and the new door/window and contact sensors is not included yet and will be added in a future update.
Recommendation
We strongly recommend installing this custom app on all BACnet deployments, even if you are not upgrading mPower.
This update resolves several known decoder issues present in version 7.0 and improves overall BACnet compatibility.
