Grappling with complexity, engaging in constructive problem solving with others and learning to embrace diversity and multiple viewpoints-the world needs Model United Nations more than ever. MUN Impact has been serving secondary students around the world with innovative, free programming since 2008.
After a two-year hiatus, MUN Impact is back to focus on its core mission: to share educational resources, tell stories, and undertake small projects by committed students and their teachers. We will continue to build out programming as interest and student leadership emerge.

When the COVID-19 pandemic hit in March of 2020, the MUN Impact leadership and student community sprang into action. Over a two-year period, MUNI added a dozen programs to its online offerings, and reached in excess of 60,000 youth in 160 countries, all at no cost to the participants. A two-year hiatus saw a drawdown of programming, as screen-fatigued youth and their teachers headed back to their schools. As we near the end of 2024, a new set of challenges faces us: worsening climate, a rise in authoritarianism, a rollback of rights and protections for many citizens around the world. And so the need for informed, engaged, globally-minded citizens is needed more than ever.
