Plan Advisors was founded on a shared vision: to create a support system where brokers could thrive. That vision came to life through the combined experience of Lance Hoeltke and Carlos Rivera—two leaders who aligned on one mission: helping brokers succeed.
Carlos began his career at Humana in 2005, rising to serve as Director in Miami. With insight into corporate strategy and a heart for service, he launched Plan Advisors in 2014 with a broker-first approach.
Lance entered the broker space in 2004, managing Humana’s relationships across the Midwest. In 2012, he took over Bishop Marketing Agency, continuing its legacy of agent support since 1983.
In 2016, Carlos and Lance merged their businesses to form today’s Plan Advisors, a national FMO committed to equipping agents with tools, training, and relationships that drive real impact.
