Explore fun & interesting concepts with professional mathematicians while forging new friendships with other mathy kids in amazing academic & recreational settings.
Mission
National Math Camps provide immersive summer enrichment opportunities that allow campers to experience the joys of mathematical exploration with equally passionate peers in an environment that celebrates their curiosity and promotes friendship.
We offer multiple locations and session dates, allowing you the flexibility to choose the best fit for your camper. All Summer 2026 sessions offer campers two weeks of residential camp experiences with professional mathematicians exploring advanced topics in and out of the classroom. Campers will forge new friendships and create lifelong memories with other mathy kids, while living in dormitory housing on beautiful campuses with plenty of recreational activities available as well.
To bring together extraordinary students and mathematicians for immersive, joyful and transformational math experiences that prepare & inspire students to impact the frontiers of math and science.
A world where all mathematically talented students have access to rigorous mathematical experiences and become the next generation of pioneers who will drive innovation, solve complex global challenges, and lead with curiosity, creativity and integrity.
Students thrive when they are part of a vibrant and supportive mathematical community, where they can learn from one another and build lasting friendships. This sense of community is best cultivated through meaningful time spent together in person.
Discovering the beauty & wonder of mathematics should be a joyful experience. While our programs all involve serious mathematical work, we aim to approach it in a way that sparks curiosity, nurtures creativity, and instills a genuine love for mathematics and learning.
Students achieve the most mathematical growth by engaging deeply with challenging problems and concepts that stretch their abilities. Our programs are designed to encourage focused exploration of complex ideas, fostering both mastery and resilience.
At National Math Camps, students engage in immersive learning with experts, experiencing what it’s like to be a real mathematician. They explore advanced topics in math through hands-on activities and interactive classes.
Beyond the classroom, campers participate in fun activities and events like talent shows and game nights, fostering friendships, building community and creating lifelong memories. With plenty of social and recreational activities, the camps create balanced, enriching experiences that promote both academic growth and lasting friendships.

Campers dive into advanced math topics through hands-on activities and expert-led sessions, encouraging deep problem-solving and critical thinking.
Alongside academics, campers enjoy fun events and outdoor activities that build community and create lifelong memories.
Our faculty and staff understand the unique social and emotional needs of extraordinary young people and create a warm environment where campers feel seen and supported, and can truly flourish.
All of our programs are designed for mathematically talented students and use age ranges (rather than school grades) to ensure the best social and academic fit.
For 2026, both of our camps serve students ages 11–14 (as of June 1). Additional camps for other age ranges will be added in future years — sign up for updates!
All NMC camps require an application, including a short problem set that helps us understand each student’s mathematical interest and readiness.
For more details, please see the individual camp pages below.
NMC is committed to making our programs accessible to all qualified students. We offer need-based financial aid up to 100% of tuition and travel costs.
Located at Harvey Mudd College, Camp Conway places students in a iconic setting for mathematical learning. And as part of the larger Claremont Colleges campus community, students will have access to private dormitory housing and community spaces at adjacent Scripps College, voted #1 best campus living in the U.S. by Princeton Review. The location and southern California weather offer plenty of outdoor learning and recreation opportunities for active campers in a secure and serene setting.
Camp Sierpiński is hosted at William Peace University, a small and picturesque campus tucked within Raleigh’s vibrant downtown. Despite its central location, the campus feels intimate and calm — an ideal backdrop for deep thinking and meaningful connection. Students live in modern residence halls just steps from dedicated classrooms and community spaces, with lush courtyards and shaded walkways creating plenty of quiet corners for conversation, problem-solving, or reflection. The setting offers the perfect balance: safe, beautiful, and inspiring.
In future years, we hope to launch additional camps, including ones for elementary school students and for high school students.
