They have a passion for teaching and getting folks to that "ah-hah" moment about UX. Jo Minney is a small business founder and technical communicator based (for now) in Perth, Western Australia. She is passionate about user experience, data-driven decision making, cats and travel – not necessarily in that order. She’s also an avid maker, from 3D printing to sewing to woodworking, and loves combining technology and creativity to make cool stuff and encouraging others to do the same.

By day, you’ll find Jo working with charities and NGOs helping them to create bespoke digital platforms through her microagency. You might also find her donating her time via the Mission Digital program to help tackle social issues (such as gender inequality, domestic violence and global poverty) through the use of technology, or freelancing as a Nielsen Norman certified user experience research consultant.

Jo has provided advice and training to hundreds of Aussie small business owners on all things digital, with a special focus on website creation and management through federally funded workshops and programs. She is also an ambassador, sponsor and lead mentor for She Codes Australia, a social enterprise that aims to make tech jobs more accessible for women, and a past winner of the Women in Tech WA Shining Star award for Advocacy, Community and Volunteering. Olena is a Staff Developer Advocate at Confluent and a recognized expert in data streaming and analytics. With two decades of experience in software engineering, she has built mission-critical applications, led high-performing teams, and driven large-scale technology adoption at industry leaders like Nokia, HERE Technologies, AWS, and Aiven.

A passionate advocate for real-time data processing and AI-driven applications, Olena empowers developers and organizations to use the power of streaming data. I am a Solutions Architect at DigitalOcean, where he designs and optimizes K8s-based GPU infrastructure for gen-AI workloads, with a focus on LLM inference and cost-efficient scaling. Before joining DigitalOcean, he helped build and run mission-critical systems for several large German enterprises. Jeff now distills complex cloud and AI concepts into clear, practical guidance—publishing articles that turn deep technical challenges into straightforward, actionable steps for engineering teams.

I'm a Solutions Architect at DigitalOcean, where I specialise in designing and implementing complex cloud solutions. My expertise spans Kubernetes orchestration, AI/ML infrastructure, and multi-node GPU clusters for high-performance computing. I'm particularly passionate about networking architecture and serverless technologies, constantly exploring ways to build more efficient and scalable systems.

Richard Campbell wrote his first line of code in 1977. His career has spanned the computing industry both on the hardware and software sides, development, and operations. He was a co-founder of Strangeloop Networks, acquired by Radware in 2013, and was on the board of directors of Telerik, which was acquired by Progress Software in 2014. Today, he is a consultant and advisor to a number of successful technology firms and is the founder and chairman of Humanitarian Toolbox (www.htbox.org), a public charity that builds open-source software for disaster relief. Richard also hosts three podcasts: .NET Rocks! Once described on Reddit as “technically challenged”, Sarah is a Principal Security Advocate working at Microsoft. She has lived all over the place but currently calls Melbourne home.

Sarah has been working in cyber security since before it was cool, has previously spoken at many security conferences including Black Hat and has co-authored a few Microsoft Press technical books. She is an active supporter of security communities across the globe and a co-host of the Microsoft Azure Security Podcast.

Sarah spends most of her spare time gaming, eating hipster brunches and high teas and spending a disproportionate amount of her income on her dogs.

Horovits lives at the intersection of technology, product and open source. With over 20 years in the tech industry as a software developer, a solutions architect and a product manager, he brings a wealth of knowledge in cloud and cloud-native architectures, big data solutions, DevOps practices and more. 

Horovits is an international speaker, an Ambassador of the Cloud Native Computing Foundation (CNCF) and of the OpenSearch Software Foundation, and host of the popular OpenObservability Talks podcast. 

Currently working as senior developer advocate for the Open Source team at AWS, Horovits evangelizes on the OpenSearch project by the Linux Foundation and on Observability in IT systems.

Agata specializes in the practical application of AI to solve real-world challenges. Currently, she holds the roles of CTO and AI Solutions Architect at the Hamburg-based AI consulting company theBlue.ai. With 10 years of professional experience in AI and data-related fields, Agata has developed AI-based solutions for a diverse range of clients, from emerging startups to global companies. 

Brandon is an independent .NET Consultant at Code Traveler LLC where he gets to work closely with the developer community to help fellow C# developers make 5-star apps.

With over 15 years of C# experience working across Xamarin, Microsoft and Amazon, Brandon is an expert in high-performance asynchronous programming, mobile app development, Azure and AWS. He is the creator and lead developer on numerous open-source libraries that have earned millioned downloads, such as AsyncAwaitBestPractices and CommunityToolkit.Maui.

An avid developer, Brandon loves to code and has contribute to open-source libraries and mobile apps.

Rendle is the CTO of XRAI, where they're on a mission to subtitle the world and help people communicate and connect with each other. With magic glasses! They also use skills acquired during a few years as a professional stand-up comic to deliver entertaining and informative talks at conferences around the world, and recently learned to play bass so they could join tech parody band The LineBreakers.

Chris Klug is a developer badass-as-a-service that either creates or solves problems depending on who you ask. He loves creating and building things. Whether it be a new application, a new kitchen or a new RC helicopter, you will see him building things all the time. Most of the time, that means writing code and solving problems for clients at a company called Active Solution in Stockholm though. Except for the many days he spends at conferences and usergroups, talking about doing things he is passionate about, and for the days he goes mountain biking, IPSC shooting, kiteboarding or RC helicopter flying.
For the last 15-something years, he has been solving problems for customers, and loving it. But if he gets to choose, he'll go to the beach and kitesurf every day!

A passionate engineer, educator, musician and all-round enthusiast, Alexander is a senior software engineer unashamedly worshipping at the altar of Microsoft, with many over 5 years programming professionally in .NET and TypeScript, most recently at FundApps - monitoring daily compliance for over 30 trillion dollars worth of assets worldwide! A committed mentor and speaker, Alexander regularly contributes to open source projects, tech meetups & community events, while living a double life as a composer and choral director! Carly is Developer Advocate Lead at Elastic, based in London, UK. Before joining Elastic in 2022, she spent over 10 years working as a technologist at a large investment bank, specialising in front-end web development and agility. She is a UI developer, who occasionally dabbles in writing backend services, a speaker and a regular blogger.

Alan Smith is a Cloud & AI Trainer, Mentor & Coach at Active Solution in Stockholm, Sweden. He has a strong hands-on philosophy and focusses on embracing the power and flexibility of cloud computing to deliver engaging and exciting demos and training courses.

Alan has held the MVP title since 2005, and is currently an AI MVP. He is in the organization team for the CloudBurst and AI Burst Conferences.

David is the Director of Architecture for NewDay, and the founder of Electric Head Software. Focusing on iterative software delivery, developer mentoring and cultural change - mostly working with London-based organisations.

He speaks about software design, culture, and ethics in technology - rounded out by an assortment of talks about software that probably doesn't need to exist but makes the world a little more fun. David has previously served as the chief coding technical architect for JustGiving and helped market-leading organisations including JUST-EAT, Trainline and Vodafone improve their technical capabilities.

David is a Microsoft MVP, has been part of the OpenUK Honours list for open-source advocacy, and is a twice bestselling author of children's books about programming.

My early career saw me working as a software engineer and technical leader across multiple startups. But it was my passion for education that led me to devote the last 5+ years to reimagining how we teach people to code professionally. 

Over the last half decade I have had the opportunity to work in the NGO space and build alternative education systems from the ground up. Along the way I have learned a lot about how to teach well, how to build systems that teach well, and how traditional education systems fall short. 

Now, my primary aim is to spread skills to educators. To empower those who empower others.

I lead the Guild of Educators, a community I founded to empower tech educators through shared resources, support, and evidence-based teaching practices. Additionally, I run Prelude, where I provide rigorous technical training, as well as consultation, and coaching for technical educators, and organisations with education functions (for example grad programs and similar). 

Arthur (or Art, take your pick) has been a software engineer for 21 years and has worked on things as exciting as analysis software for casinos and things as boring as banking websites. He is an advocate for talking openly about mental health and psychology in the technical world, and he spends a lot of time thinking about how we program and why we program, and about the tools, structures, cultures, and mental processes that help and hinder us from our ultimate goal of writing amazing things. His hair is brown and his thorax is a shiny blue color.

Steve Gordon is a Pluralsight author, 7x Microsoft MVP, and a .NET engineer at Elastic. He is based in the UK. Steve is passionate about community and all things .NET related, having worked with .NET for over 20 years. Steve enjoys sharing his knowledge through his blog, in videos and by presenting talks at user groups and conferences. Steve is excited to participate in the active .NET community and founded .NET South East, a .NET Meetup group based in Brighton. He enjoys contributing to and maintaining OSS projects. Darshna is the Chief AI Officer at Elastacloud, where she leads strategic development of AI accelerators across Finance, Legal, Energy, Sustainability and Security. Darshna also has a broad-ranging consultancy experience, in which she has developed and deployed a wide range of machine learning models on Azure across a myriad of industries.Darshna has a PhD in Neuroscience, specialising in neuronal network dynamics in drug-resistant temporal lobe epilepsy from which her passion for Data and AI stemmed. 

She is an established speaker and mentor, having given talks at Tech(K)now, Microsoft conferences (Future Decoded, Build, Ignite), DPS Days, Cloud Brew, UK Azure meetup, SQL Bits as well as co-organising and leading the monthly Data Science London meetup group to bring together a community of over 10,000 members together to discuss and learn about the latest AI developments. She has a huge passion for sustainability and loves speaking with diverse audiences, learning and sharing knowledge through blog posts.

Jimmy is the creator and maintainer of the popular OSS libraries AutoMapper and MediatR, and the originator of Vertical Slice Architecture. Jimmy is an independent software consultant based in Austin, TX. Jimmy has received the "Microsoft Most Valuable Professional" (MVP) award every year since 2009.

Eli has been in tech since being released back into the wild from studying maths at university 7 years ago. They've spent their time working in industries ranging from telecoms to biotech to analog circuit design to developer advocacy, continually getting nerd-sniped along the way. These days, they work at the Bennett Institute as a Research Software Advocate, helping to build the next generation of healthcare research tooling. In their spare time, they like to go bouldering, knit and sew, and hang out with their cat.

Aakansha Priya is a Solution Architect at Dash0, CNCF Ambassador, CKA certified and a co-organiser of KubeHuddle Toronto. Previously, a Developer Advocate at EmpathyOps, where she led developer content and community engagement around CNCF tech.

A frontend dev turned architect, Aakansha has spoken at events like DevOpsDays, Civo Navigate & OSS NA, focusing on observability, DevOps culture, and the human side of tech. Outside of work, she enjoys painting, singing, and spontaneous travel.

Adriana Villela is a CNCF Ambassador, blogger, podcaster, and one of the maintainers of the OpenTelemetry End User SIG. By day, she works at Dynatrace, focusing on Observability and OpenTelemetry. By night, she climbs walls. She also loves capybaras, because they make her happy!

Barry (he/him/his) is a .NET Software Engineer who has been creating business solutions for enterprise customers for more than 30 years. Barry is also an Election Integrity Activist, baseball and hockey fan, husband of one genius and father of another, and a 40+ year resident of Phoenix Arizona USA. When Barry is not traveling around the world to speak at Conferences, Code Camps and User Groups or to participate in GiveCamps, he spends his days as a Solution Architect for enterprise customers and his nights thinking about the next Arizona GiveCamp, an annual event where software developers come together to build websites and apps for some great non-profit organizations.

 Jo is a DevRel Engineer at Deno. She is passionate about improving developer experience, teaching good use of JS and TS and building sparkly, wearable, internet connected tech. She mentors junior developers, advocates for mental health awareness and is devoted to improving the diversity and inclusivity of the tech industry.

Yishai Beeri likes to solve problems, and that’s why he was so fascinated with programming when first encountered Logo back in the 80s, where the possibilities seemed endless.

He has made it a focus of his career to solve complex programming problems, both as a consultant and entrepreneur. In 2014 he joined the CTO office of a fast-moving cloud security startup, which later was acquired by a networking giant. At this startup he also met Ori Keren and Dan Lines, now co-founders of LinearB. He joined them shortly after the company was established, in order to get back to what he loves most about engineering, solving big challenges, and this time he is focusing on the world of Dev Productivity and Experience.  He is also the host of the very successful Hebrew Podcast - Dev Interrupted. 

Chris Ayers is a Senior Software Engineer at Microsoft, where he builds AI-driven tooling to analyze outages and incidents across Azure. His work focuses on improving the way engineers understand failures, uncover risks, and strengthen reliability at cloud scale.

With a background spanning DevOps, cloud architecture, and modern application design, Chris brings both engineering depth and practical experience to the challenge of making large systems more resilient. He’s also a frequent international speaker who loves sharing real-world lessons about developer productivity, reliability, containers, and automation.

Outside of work, Chris is a proud dad, lifelong gamer, avid reader, and unapologetic nerd.

Michelle Frost is an AI Advocate at JetBrains. With over a decade of engineering experience, Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Missouri at Kansas City, a Master of Science in Artificial Intelligence from Johns Hopkins University, and is a Microsoft AI MVP. As an established AI and Machine Learning specialist, Michelle focuses on Responsible AI development. Her approach is grounded in creating AI that is fair, accountable, and transparent.

Michelle is also an active member and Tech Advisor to The Center for Practical Bioethics' Ethical AI Initiative. When not behind the screen, she can be found tending to her garden with her 100 lb pup Wilbur by her side.

Lotte Pitcher has been building websites with Microsoft technologies for longer than she cares to remember, starting with classic ASP and working through every version of .NET since. She previously ran a web development agency in London and is now Head of Developer Relations at Umbraco, where she helps maintain a successful open-source project while engaging with its dedicated global community.

As a Microsoft MVP and a long-time open-source contributor, Lotte organises meetups, hackathons and conferences, speaks at events and releases software. She is a passionate advocate for active participation in tech communities and aims to create inclusive, safe and welcoming spaces - both in-person and virtual - where everyone can learn, collaborate and thrive.

Glenn F. Henriksen is a mentor and developer from Norway. As the co-founder and CTO of Justify, he gets to build new legal tools for everyone to use, helping to create better communication and less conflict in relationships. He's continuously exploring new tools, processes and technologies, and improving how he and his fellow developers work with code, tasks and projects. He has been a Microsoft Development MVP, a part of the Microsoft Regional Director program and is an ASP.NET Insider and an Azure Advisor. James produces content on YouTube focused on architecting and building applications with serverless technologies using .NET and Rust. He also has a strong interest in and expertise in event-driven architecture and building more loosely coupled systems.

Kevin DeRudder is a full stack web developer with a deep passion for ASP.NET and building modern, interactive web applications.

With years of experience in web development and .NET, he helps developers simplify their web apps while keeping them fast, maintainable. As a conference organizer and speaker, Kevin loves sharing practical insights on web development and fostering learning communities. When he’s not coding or speaking, he’s busy running Techorama and other developer events.

Jonathan, or J. as he's known to friends, is a husband, father, and founding partner of Trailhead Technology Partners, a custom software consulting company with employees across the U.S., Europe, and South America. Pinal Dave is a seasoned SQL Server Performance Tuning Expert and independent consultant. She has lead teams both in house and remotely as well as giving workshops and training. She has many years of experience as a mentor for online learning platforms, Treehouse and OpenClassrooms. Debbie is a Google Developer Expert in web technologies, Cloudinary Media Developer Expert and Nuxt Ambassador as well as a GitHub Star alumni and a previous Microsoft Most Valuable Professional in developer technologies.

Debbie has a special love for JavaScript frameworks especially Vue.js and Nuxt.js and React as well as testing where she now focuses her time on Playwright end to end testing.
