A post.......
Sadly with no pics. I am right now making it my goal to be a better blogger again. There was a day when I would plan outings in the day for the sole purpose that I could make a post about it. I look at them now, and am so grateful I did. It is time to join the blog world again so that my kids will someday look back, and remember the fun we had. So here it goes a fresh start in the blog world. Starting........tomorrow!!

Rexburg moms
My friend Bree has started a great blog. It is at rexburg-moms.blogspot.com. She puts all of the fun stuff going on around Rexburg on it. She also has awesome giveaways. Right now she has an awesom giveaway from obsessive car detailing. So go check it out. Because if you are like me and driving around with kids your car always stinks. (okay maybe that is just me!)

x games
My favorite little Brother has made it to the X Games! He will be riding in the snocross Sunday on ESPN. I am so excited for him. He has been working towards this since he was twelve. He will be the only Semi Pro rider among the Pro's, so this is a huge honor for him. If you want to watch, it will be on ESPN on Sunday. Who knows maybe Max and I will get our three seconds of t.v. fame holding our poster :) Here we come Aspen! (thank you Mike and Kim for keeping Mason and Av)

New Post worthy
So I know it has been a really long time since I posted. This is still due to no camera cord. But, I have some exciting news!!! My friend Bree's husband just surprised her with 2 New Moon premier tickets for tonight!!! I can't wait. We may just have to dress up like fifteen year old besty best friends, talk about Hannah Montana (and of course how HOT Edward is in the line), and throw all theatre etiquette out the window. But, hey how many times do you get to go to the Twilight premier? I will report tomorrow morning on the nights activities. I am sure it will be a riot! Stay tuned.

Still no camera!
I still havn't gotten a camera. Although, I have stolen my moms, but I didn't run out of there with the cord.We have had a fun week so far. Monday would have been Nic's 29th birthday. So we had our annual chicken noodle soup dinner for him, and the kids decorated some cup cakes. Then on Tuesday Max turned six months. So the kids and I celebrated with some half birthday cupcakes. Poor Max couldn't have one though. He isn't big enough yet. Other than that I have still been canning like crazy, and trying to finish up my garden and yard. Oh wait I havn't watered it for three weeks. I think it is dead. And I think my mom dies everytime she sees what her pretty yard has turned into. Oh Well.

{Oh what do you do}
With a four year girl who takes playing house a little too far? Lately Avery has taken playing mommy to the extreme. This week I have found rotten eggs in her play kitchen, (and in the carpet) shampoo all over her stuffed animals, hand soap in her hair, and Neil just revealed she has been pretending her room is her house's bathroom! WHAT DO I DO?!!!!!!
(I hope this post doesn't cause her friend's moms to never let their kids play with her again)

{the Big #2}
Yesterday Neil and I celebrated our big second Anniversary. We celebrated by taking a quick fun filled trip to Salt Lake over the weekend. We had a lot of laughs, splurged a little too much, and I may have even cried a little. :) I am so grateful that I found Neil. The poor guy had to make a lot of sacrifices by marrying me, and I am so grateful he was willing to take on the challenge. If he ever does decide to look at my blog I LOVE YOU!

As I am sitting here(at midnight)blog stalking, waiting for my (what feels like) millionth batch of canning, and missing Neil who is working in Utah, I have made a shocking discovery. IT HAS BEEN ANOTHER THREE WEEKS SINCE AN UPDATE! So here it goes. Due to our recent loss of a camera (thanks to little miss Avery), and the misplacement of Mom's camera chord. I will just have to jot down a few of my thoughts.
I am not going to lie, I have been a little melancholy (is that a word) lately. It seems that life has taken on a whole new phase for me. I took this little
guy to kindergarten for the very first time. It was a little overwhelming as he walked into the room without even looking back. No need for his mom anymore. I was half proud and half heart broken. Sad that Nic was not there to carry on with me about how cute he was, and very grateful that I could go home and tell Neil all about it.
And it sure didn't help that this little lady went off to college on the same day. Who is going to bring me
Diet Coke at midnight now Carl? I sure am missing you! Come home soon! (and maybe bring that crazy sister of ours with you)
I am a little sad to see them both grow up, and excited to see what they will do next. And hopefully I can get a new camera soon so I can put up some current pics. That little red headed baby of mine is getting cuter by the day, and his dimples are just getting deeper and deeper.

A LiTtle PReVieW
Since my poor camera was broken right before the trip here are a few random photos I stole off of Che's blog for you all to get a little preview! (sorry to those of you that read both of our blogs)
The trip was so much fun, and thankfully the babies were all good for most of the trip. We were quite a sight to see though. We were asked more times than I can count if they were triplets. People just didn't want to believe that every one of us young girls had a baby. When I told them I actually had three that just sent them whirling. I guess they aren't used to how us Mormon girls operate, but we did fit right on in with the Amish :)
Here we are the four amigos having a little afternoon sampling of Mexican food before touring the library of Congress. Which turned into a tour of three babies screaming, and then a run in the rain. Only to find out later that there was an under ground tunnel we could have used!

Me and Che in front of the Amish village.

Oh what cute fruit.

And here you have the three babies shoved in the back seat of the car. Which left the front seat for the four of us.

Then Nic and I's good friends (Candice, Tom, and kids)from Salt Lake came up for the Fourth of July.

We fed the fish, and went to Mesa fALLS

Went to the Ashton Parade
And hung out with our CRAZY COUSINS
And it wouldn't be a trip to Idaho without a little fun at the Sand dunes, which is where Avery dropped the camera, and is thus the end of our photos.
We also went to Lagoon for my b-day on the 9th, and then on the 10th I walked in the Relay for Life for my cousin. It was so rewarding and is classified in my top ten best things I have ever done. I was even able to Karaoke a little Neil Diamond it was great.
On the 22nd our little guy turned four months! He weighed 12 lbs 4 oz, and was 24 inches long. ( He seems to be going down in the heighth percentile which is a little concerning to us :) He is still the best baby, although he is very somber. It takes a little bit of energy to get a smile out of this guy. He is a lot like Neil, but when you get him smiling and laughing it melts our hearts. He is trying hard to roll over, but only gets half way. He still has his dad wrapped around his little finger, and a big brother that is constantly giving him wet slobbery kisses. And his newest development SUCKING HIS THUMB!
This Crazy Lady with Jennifer, Kim, and all three of our new babies. It can't be anything short of an adventure!!

{the blessing day}
We blessed Max on Sunday, and it was such a nice day. Neil did an awesome job, and was joined by all of the grandpa's in the circle (the little tyke has seven grandpa's). We then had a big dinner at our house with about 80 people. Thankfully the rain let up long enough for us to eat outside. My camera died after a few pics, but here are the few that I got.

Thanks everyone for coming and supporting our little family. We love and appreciate you all.
Later that day we drove up to Mesa Falls with Neil's parents and sisters. It was really fun. I hadn't ever taken my kids there. Of course they loved it, and I was praying that one of them wouldn't fall in.

Now for shocking news! Most of you know that I am not an animal person. I just haven't ever really liked them. Now meet our new family member. Our nameless dog. (Mason wants to name her Lisa, Avery wants to name her Jo Jo, and Neil wants to name her Nacho Libre. I just call her puppy) Anyway, she had been running wild around my grandma's for weeks, and so after calling around and no one claiming her she has become our new dog. The kids are loving her, and I am trying to get used to having an inside dog. Something I never thought I would do. I guess sometimes you just have to break down and do a few things for your kids.

relay for life

A little over a month ago one of my best freinds (and cousin) lost her sweet husband Chris. Chris had been battling a brain tumor for about a year and a half. Jennifer and Chris were the most amazing couple, and two of the strongest people I know. As Chris fought the cancer his health declined. By the end of his life he couldn't walk or talk, and his sweet wife cared for him tirelessly. Most of the time pregnant with thier little baby Sadie who is now three months old. As Chris's health declined the two of them became stronger. They were such examples to all of us that were around them. We never heard either of them complain. When Chris was asked how his day was he would respond with either "it was a good day, or it was a better day." Never a bad day. Even when he lost his speech he retained the ability to say two important things I love you, and thank you. I am so grateful for the relationship that I was able to have with Chris. He taught me so much even though he could say nothing.
On July 10th we are going to walk in the relay for life to raise money for cancer research. If you would like to donate to Team York in honor of Chris go to relayforlife.org/idahofallsid Even five or ten dollars adds up fast. Or for you creative people (ie my sister in laws) we will be having a booth set up that we can sell crafty things if anyone wants to donate to that.
