Let's talk about Nitrogen monitoring with Sonda

Nitrogen is one of the most essential nutrients for crop growth, making fertilizers containing Nitrogen increasingly regulated in many parts of the world. It is also one of the biggest costs for EU farms, making its optimization key for farmers who want to stay ahead of the cruve while keeping and even increasing yields. 

It is also a major pollutant. Nitrogen fertilizers can be washed away into water sources and degrade into Nitrous Oxide, which is a greenhouse gas 300 times more potent than CO2, making its reduction an important goal for Nerit’e.

We recommend using Sondas variably depending on the uniformity of your field. For example, if you manage large monocrop fields such as winter wheat, one sensor every 25 hectares is enough to characterise the area. However, if your field is a high-value or Nitrogen intensive crop, for example Spinach, we recommend having a higher Sonda density, e.g. one sensor every 15 hectares.

We accept most payment methods including credit cards, PayPal, Klarna, Google Pay and bank transfers. You can choose your preferred option at checkout.

You can return items within 14 days of receipt for a full refund, no questions asked. Nerit’e also provides a 30-day trial during which a full replacement of a Sonda will be available if it is defective. The warranty does not cover Damage resulting from misuse, corrosion, force majeure or third-party network failure. If you have any questions, feel free to contact our support team.

If your order hasn’t shipped, you can request changes directly through our support contact methods. For shipping orders, please contact our support team as soon as possible.

No, Sonda sensors are not insured. However, every Sonda is guaranteed to work under our Warranty policy, and can be fully replaced at no cost to you if it arrives with any functional defects. Please contact us if this is the case and we will happily assist you. You can find our Warranty Policy along with relevant information before checkout.
