Norview Elementary has served families of the Norview community in Norfolk, VA since its erection in 1962.   Enrollment was originally open for first to sixth graders; however, Norview is currently home to 500+ Prekindergarten to Grade 5 students.   Norview has been a fully accredited school since 2007.

In 2009, the city of Norfolk built a community center adjacent to the school.  Some of the features many of our students enjoy include an art room, a full-sized indoor basketball court/gymnasium,  computer labs, a dance studio, playground, and a water splash pad (free and open to the public.  Facility use cards are available for purchase on site.  During school hours, Norview is granted full access to the gymnasium for Physical Education classes.
