Count our blessings

I just found out tonight that one of my best friend's Mom Julie Pearson has stage 4 pancreas cancer that has spread to her liver, spleen & various stomach lining areas. I'm going to go and see her Thursday at the hospital as she has been wonderful to me for the past 15 years. :o( The doctors gave her 8 months to live if she has a good & positive attitude. That has to be such hard news to hear right before Christmas. After being sad about it I've been thinking tonight that Life can be short and time is so precious, I went in and kissed my babies again and thanked Heavenly Father for them. I will try and remember everyday is a blessing and kiss & hug my sweeties more. (Leslie posted not Will)

Blessings & Happenings of the day

Aug 8 - Reality of school & early am seminary has hit our family for sure! We are night owls not early birds so it's hard to make that switch. lol

July 26 - I've only had 4 Dr. Pepper's in since June 11 pretty darn good since I used to have 3 per day! I've only lost 5 lbs but haven't really been exercising or watching what I've been eating since July 4th. My goal is start back up on Aug. 6th when the kids start school again. :o)

June 11 - Diet & Exercise here I come for reals this time! I'm quitting Dr. Pepper even, eliminating sugar, low carbs and increasing greens...wish me luck! I'm also going to start walking tonight despite my feet :o)
