Fellow’s Developer API now includes Webhooks and a new Action Items API, giving teams more powerful ways to build real-time workflows and integrations with Fellow.
Webhooks automatically send events to your systems when key activities happen in Fellow, so you can trigger workflows instantly without polling the API.
Fellow currently supports four webhook events:
1. AI note is generated
2. AI note is shared to a channel
3. Action item is assigned
4. Action item is completed
The new Action Items API provides programmatic access to action items, allowing you to manage tasks from external tools.
You can:
1. Fetch and filter action items
2. Mark them complete or incomplete
3. Archive tasks
Fellow now has Shortcuts in Ask Fellow: Tailored One-click prompts that help you get instant outputs and value from your meetings.
Shortcuts make it faster and easier to get started with Ask Fellow. They automatically serve you the most relevant one-click actions that will give you the most value at that specific point in time, without ever having to type your own prompt. Now, you can do things like generate entire documents, follow up emails, or clip key moments from meetings with a single click.
Fellow’s botless recording lets you capture meetings without inviting a bot into the call while keeping your meeting recordings, transcripts, summaries, and action items fully governed and searchable in Fellow.
You can now start “Record without bot” from the desktop app and quietly capture conversations in quick syncs, in-person chats, or sensitive external calls, all with the same enterprise-grade privacy, internal transparency, and governance as traditional bot-based recordings.
Why it matters
Not every conversation needs a visible bot in the meeting, but every meaningful interaction deserves to be captured and acted on. Botless recording gives teams flexible, secure capture that fits how work actually happens—without compromising governance or discoverability.
Fellow.app is now Fellow.ai — reflecting how teams use Fellow today: as an AI-powered system for capturing, organizing, and acting on meeting context across their work.
The product, workflows, and data stay the same. Your meetings, notes, decisions, and action items continue to live in one place, now with deeper AI capabilities that help teams move faster and stay aligned.
The Fellow + Zapier integration connects your meeting data in Fellow to thousands of apps and workflows, without manual exports or custom engineering.
With this integration, you can automatically trigger actions in other tools when meeting events happen in Fellow (like a new meeting recap, action item created, or decision logged), and push meeting content into your workflow automations in apps like Slack, Notion, Google Sheets, Jira, and more.
Why it matters
Automating meeting outputs eliminates manual hand-offs, surfaces meeting context where teams already work, and keeps your workflows up to date without redundant steps.
You can now create Custom Recap Templates in Fellow, giving you full control over how AI-generated meeting recaps are structured.
Define exactly what you want captured—decisions, action items, blockers, role-specific takeaways—and apply templates before or after meetings to get consistent, high-quality recaps without manual cleanup.
Why it matters
Meetings generate a lot of information. Custom Recap Templates turn that information into clear, usable outputs tailored to how your team actually works.
Fellow is the only AI meeting assistant partnered with Glean, making your meeting insights from Fellow—notes, summaries, decisions, and action items—searchable directly in Glean alongside the rest of your company’s knowledge.
By connecting Fellow with Glean, teams can find answers across meetings, documents, chats, and other systems in one place, without manually sharing notes or recreating context.
Why it matters
Meeting context is often the missing piece of institutional knowledge. Making it searchable reduces information silos, speeds up decision-making, and helps teams avoid repeated questions and lost context.
The Fellow API gives you secure, programmatic access to your meeting data in Fellow—including transcripts, notes, action items, and metadata, without manual exports or workarounds.
You can now push meeting context into your own systems and workflows to power dashboards, internal tools, automations, or custom AI use cases, using meeting data exactly as it was captured in Fellow.
The Fellow MCP Server lets MCP-compatible AI tools (like ChatGPT or Claude) securely access your meeting context from Fellow while respecting Fellow access and permissioning—no more copy-pasting!
You can now combine Fellow meeting data with other connected tools to automatically analyze conversations, generate summaries, and create outputs like documentation, slide decks, or visual reports (charts, graphs) based on what was captured from your meetings.
We’ve introduced automatic Recording Disclosure Emails to help you stay transparent when recording meetings with your attendees.
