Reader, booklover, editor and novelist.
The Wildings (2012), and The Hundred Names of Darkness (2013) are award-winning fantasy novels. Black River (2022), Delhi noir fiction, was shortlisted for the CWA Gold Dagger award.
I’ve also edited three anthologies, most recently Our Freedoms (2021), and published a collection of essays, The Girl Who Ate Books (2016), on the lifelong love of reading. I live in Delhi with my husband and four irrepressible cats, and write about books for the Financial Times.
