Seriously how can it be winter?
We are playing outside in January with no jackets! Good times for sure!

Happy New Year!

Image
I love this idea. We let off lanterns with our bad habit we wanted to get rid of and a goal for the new year. Definetly a new tradition.

Christmas Morning!

My camera is having serious issues so I didn't get many pictures of Christmas morning. But I can vouch that the kids loved every minute of it. Here are a few pictures.

Evey loved every thing in her stocking. She liked her "dora da pora" toothbrush the most. I talking more then her princess barbies.

Ezra was so excited for his "under water Atlantis city, lego set" The only thing he asked for.

Evey had to make sure that every single little teeny-tiny piece of tape and paper was off.

The Nutcracker

We started a new tradition for us girlie's. The Nutcracker. Evey absolutely loved it! She was the only kid around us that watched the whole thing. When the intermission started she was disappointed because she wanted more dancing. I can't wait for her to start dance. Maybe one day she can dance in the Nutcracker like her Mom and Aunt Kristi.

I have some really great memories dancing in the Nutcracker. The 3 a week practices. The dress rehearsals. I remember feeling like a star, feeling like I had a big part in making the Nutcracker happen. The first year I tried out I wasn't alone. I had my big sis Kristi with me. I was so nervous. I  can still fell my heart pounding and nausea from waiting for Clytie to hand me "the paper." Oh the excitement we all had when you read "Congratulations, you made Clytie Adams Nutcracker." We both made it. I loved that we went to practices together. We'd drive in her silver Leberan(spl?).  Oh the memories! Might I add she is a BEAUTIFUL dancer. I always wanted to dance like her. That year I was a Blue soldier. We both had the chance to dance in multiple Nutcrackers. But my first one was the only one I had with Lou.
