Hello, I found your blog from my stats page on flickr. I am thrilled that someone likes my family pictures, of the hippie house where I grew up (Knotty pine and dog with 1/4 of a cow), and the pictures of my mother’s family (the pup tent, the birthday party with birds). I am really enjoying the pictures you have posted and your ideas about design.

Thanks so much Selkie for sharing your family history. I do love your photos! So much of them are odd little things I love–knotty pine, tents, parties! Thank you for your comment.

Hey – just saw your Clutter Cowgirl post from AT… wondering where that large print resting on the computer station came from! It’s so nice!

I’m in love with your blog. Amazingly contemporary, and with no overt curatorial agenda, it’s strangely coherent despite you grabbing from throughout the entire cyber-universe.

Max, thanks for your loving and thoughtful review. Much appreciated! Long live the cyber-universe land!

Kellyr-
Thank you for seeing the picture that I made on the nootnatdit.net blog! I too really like your blog. I was just at the national archives in DC. They have a lot of photos that have yet to be digitized. If the internet ever dries up on you, you should head over there! You would love it.

Thank you! I quote;R.Hillier. Actual tweed form the material of the letters of this advertising display. The colours used for the word ”FASHION” are blue and yellow. The word ”SOCIETY” is made from matchsticks, while the figures are made from red, yellow and brown cloth. This example comes from Australia.
