We all just have to be more patient I understand the anger in the lack of updates on Itch but you gotta give Cryk the time they need to add new stuff and make sure it works as intended. If you're REALLY that tired of waiting you can subscribe to their Patreon to view the progress report posts and new character previews. Their latest one was literally 3 days ago which HEAVILY implies that the game is still being worked on.

No problem, modding in this game is honestly so fun. I think Cultist would be a perfect unit when the stomach system is finished, but for now they might be too advanced.
Oh also I forgot to explain why having the: "[Connection]Body, Twin" was the issue. I'm thinking it's because this type of connection can and will only digest simultaneously. Since the first tentacle is tied to her body they essentially act as two halves of one stomach that must be digesting at once or else none of them can, which creates the softlock. And the other tentacles are also tied to each other which makes them and extension of this rule.
I've found some solutions to her issues:
The first one I noticed was that she'll always be overburdened after consuming 2 units (whether they were in the tentacles or in her actual stomach).
-Fixed this by removing the "Digest" and "Extra" tag from all of the Tentacles in the Class.txt file and increasing her stomach size to six.
Another issue, being the major one was units not digesting unless she contained prey within her ACTUAL stomach (Being the "[Stomach]Body" in the Class.txt).
-The Cause of the issue is the highlighted part in the [Stomach]Tentacle1 
-By changing that field to: "[Connection]Body, Tract" All of the tentacles are now an extension of her main stomach and will begin digesting as soon as you swallow a unit (the digest button also works now)
-The only drawback to this solution is that you cannot contain your prey without digesting right away so you won't be able to fill the tentacles and her unless you keep devouring units before the digestion timer runs out.
(There probably is another way to fix these issue but it's hard to say since the new stomach system, is not done and it is pretty buggy sometimes. I got no clue if the Patreon Build has the new system fully implemented or not but if it is, it might fix this issue without modifying the "Class.txt" file so much.)

The game is nice and visually appealing but mechanically it definitely still needs some work. It feels a bit too difficult due to how many enemies can spawn and swarm you on the maps that feel too small for the amount of things happening.
I'm genuinely liking the game so far, but I would recommend remapping the action controls to z,x,c instead of a,z,x as it would feel more comfortable and additionally increasing the time between enemy spawns and adding another timer to let you know when the next wave is would be neat. I also feel like we should get an increase in hp due to the sheer numbers of enemies as it feels WAY too easy to die due to one mistake. There should be a 30-60 second timer between a wave as an enemy spawning right after you have eaten another make them feel genuinely endless and nearly to defeat all of them unless you try to abuse platforms.
This game has alot of potential it just needs more quality of life changes and difficulty tweaks to make it more forgiving for the more casual players who just want to have fun and see the animations.
