Houdini

Classic Jude. He is so proud that he got out of his high chair. Out of the buckles and onto the table. He is a crazy one, that Jude. He can hoist himself up onto anything, if anything is left out on the table or counter he will make sure to snatch it. We can't leave any doors open, especially the pantry door. He learned how to switch the ac off and right now he is swinging vigorously in the baby swing. Speaking of baby, she has to be locked in my room while she sleeps because Jude has been known to reach in her bassinet and grab a handful of her hair.
But the kid means well. He is funny and cute, always smiling and can entertain himself all day long. He is just a mix between his messy dad and curious George but we love this little squirt a lot!

Meeting the fam

Image
My dad, my stepmom Angie and my little bro Anthony all came to town to visit. My dad met three of his grandkids in one day!

Luke was Anthony's little shadow. I didn't see him for 4 straight days because he slept at their hotel every night. Luke was diggin' Anthony's new specs so he went and stole Dave's to wear.

It was amazing that we could all go out to eat. One adult per child is the only way to enjoy a night out!

Example number 2 of Luke idolizing his uncle...a free massage by the pool. i didn't even know that Luke knew what a massage was.

Today

Girlfriend started smiling this week. So sweet! Luke wins the award for getting her to smile first. Liddy is still so small and under 9 pounds but is movin on up and is now in the 24th percentile for weight. I have never had a problem chunking up my babies in the past so hopefully soon she will start gaining some lb's so that her orange leggings won't look like baggy sweats anymore,

Memorial Day parade and Hershey park. Does it get any better than roller coasters, fresh kettle corn and life sized dancing candy bars?

Very first dress, thanks Jana.

Grandma Owen came out and took extra special care of all of us. I can't believe this is the only picture that I have of her but it pretty much sums up her time here...playing and reading with the boys around the clock.
Image
Our neighbor brought over some dinner and some of her girls old clothes.  Judith and Wynonna wanted to try on the winter wear.

Best babysitter ever. Cute Lindsey from our ward is going to come and help out in the mornings this summer. She is so good with the kids and they think she is the greatest thing in the world. Talk about a lifesaver. She will randomly call us on weekends and ask if she can come babysit for free.

Yeah, the neighborhood pool is now open.

Hardest part of my day is keeping these boys away. They get really nervous when they hear Liddy crying and search for her binky to shove in her face. Today i let Wyatt in the same room as her for one second and when I turned around she wass crying with her binky shoved in her mouth backwards.
The other tricky part of my day is swatting the boys away while I nurse her. They want to grab at her and hand her/ throw at her head books and toys. Long gone are the days of peacefully nursing in a chair!
