What is the Oakridge Codefest?
Oakridge Codefest is one of Bangalore's largest high-school hackathons that provides the opportunity for aspiring developers to showcase their unique talents to both each other and veterans of the industry.
It is a 24 hour overnight hackathon that will be held at Oakridge International School Bangalore from the 21st to the 22nd of January 2023.
Who is eligible to participate?
Any student between grades 6 and 12 is eligible to participate in this event. Participants must register with a team of 2-5 members.
What are the themes?
The Codefest has five primary themes to choose from
- Transport and Infrastructure
- Education
- Environmental Sustainability
- Healthcare
- Game Development
Teams are expected to use at least one primary theme for their project but are advised to choose two or more themes. Note that Game Development is only for juniors, between grades 6 and 8.

Requirements
What to Submit:
Any project relating to at least one of the event's primary themes is allowed. Participants are expected to submit a working prototype of their product along with a Github repository containing the source code.

6 teams from the junior and senior categories will receive large cash prizes from a prize pool of ₹200,000
