We’ve typically heard it’s pretty painless but if you have any trouble we’d love to hear about it. LLMs are pretty good at it too, especially if you give them the upgrade guides for context.

I know what you mean, it's new for us too. But, funny enough we found ourselves pointing Crush at the beta release notes intended for humans and it did pretty well, so here we are.

Thank you for flagging this! Fwiw, we have seen OpenRouter definitely behave not-so-great with certain models like MiniMax (compared to, say, Synthetic) we haven’t seen this with Qwen and Kimi K2 yet. But stand by; we’re looking into this.

In Crush v0.13.0 we reworked, hardened and normalized how we work with providers. But if that's not it let me know; this definitely shouldn't be happening.

Not yet explicitly, but you can add the behavior yourself with Ultraviolet. It’s still somewhat undocumented, so I’d check the Crush source code for details.
