We had a wonderful anniversary yesterday. It's hard to believe it's been five years, but it's been a great five years. We went out to dinner at the Melting Pot--some of the best food I've ever had and our waiter happened to be a magician, so he did lots of tricks for us. Chris loves magic, so he was very excited. We were there from 5:45 p.m.-9:15 p.m. Luckily we had great babysitters (Uncle Matt and Aunt Courtney). This was actually our first time ever going out for our anniversary because always had law school finals on it and then last year we had lots of family here for the BYU game. Curly-locks...

Yesterday morning after Madison's bath, I decided to curl her hair on sponge rollers. I didn't think she would leave them in, but she surprised me an kept them in during her morning nap. This was the result! She had a head full of curls. When Chris came home from work and saw her, he couldn't believe it. He thought she looked like Kendal.

Another Christmas Dress

Madison has several Christmas' dresses this year and I would have to say she looks adorable in every one of them!

Dress up!

Madison can reach my clothes in our closet and she is constantly pulling them off the hangers and making a mess! (of course when is she not making a mess???) Anyway, Chris put my shirt on her. She's so silly!

Ward Christmas Party

Doesn't Madison look pretty in her red sweater and tights & boots? She looked so festive for our Ward Party. She even sat on Santa's lap for 20 seconds before getting upset--too bad I didn't have my camera then.

Evening out

Last Friday night we went to the Live Nativity Production at the stake center down the street. We were so impressed. Before the show starts you can go see the animals--sheep, donkeys, goats, horses, dog--Madison wanted to be by the animals, but not too close and didn't want to touch them. It was a little chilly. I actually didn't take any pictures of the set, but if you want to see it go to Abby's blog and she took some great pictures. It was a fun family evening.

Dogsledding

I finally caught her on video riding the the sled with her singing dog. Sorry it's a little dark. Hope you all enjoy.

Ornaments

Madison is sporting her sparkle pants that Grandma H. gave her for the Holiday season. She looks so festive. We have the tradition of getting a new ornament every year. This year Madison got "Tinkerbell", since we went to Disneyland for the first time and Tink is making an expression that Madison always makes--a little "O" face. She loved holding it.

PJ party

While we were in Utah we got to visit with Dana (my brother's adorable girlfriend, who we love) and she gave Madison these cute pj's that show all her curves.

She was being silly while I was trying to take pictures.

She shows off her knowledge of some more body parts and then starts rolling around like a dog, which she does often.

Purple People Eater

Grandma Rae Dene got Madison this purple outfit, so she could have something to wear to all the KC Broncos games (Aunt Ali and Uncle Ryder's High School). As you can tell, she was not pleased with me taking her picture. You might notice that she's holding mascara. She loves to "put" make-up on.

So my Grandma Rae Dene gave Madison this dog and after about a day I found her sitting/riding it while it sang. Unfortunantely, I always get the camera too late. But you can see the size of the dog and realize how funny it is that she rides it.

Last Days in Utah

We helped put up Christmas lights. It was cold outside. Here is Madison and Aunt Sarah.

Here we are playing Catch Phrase. I kept getting out because I was sitting by Chris and he's so slow. Also you'll notice that Grandma is reading Madison stories. Every night Madison would get books and bring to Grandma and snuggle with her to read.

Once all the boys left home, Chris' parents got a fridge for their garage. When we all come home, it's usually filled with some fun drinks. When I openned the door this last time, I couldn't help but giggle. I've never seen so many drinks at one time in a fridge. We love going home and getting spoiled! This doesn't even show the door, which is also filled up!

Thanksgiving Day

We had a great Thanksgiving Holiday in Utah! Chris and Madison going through all the ads so we can go shopping on Friday.

Final night in NM

Our last night in NM, my parents had to leave, so Kendal and I were alone in our hotel room. Madison was being so silly that night. Here she is saying "cheese" for the picture.

The background noise is kind of loud, but you can hear her say "Papa", "ali", and "cheese".
