New Hairstyle

I've been trying new hairstyles on Madison (she is my doll to dress up and play with right?). This is the first of several posts to show you what we've been doing. Her hair is really growing and Chris wants to go get it cut and shaped...I'm dragging my feet. We'll see. This "do" is a side-swoop held by a shiny sparkly clip.

Curious Madison

As you can see Madison is starting to realize that she can get into things. She hasn't openned drawers or cupboards herself, but if they're open she'll go investigate. She has discovered out to open the cupboard where the dvds are, but I told her no and she hasn't done it again!

Our outing to the Springs Preserve

One of Chris' friends at work girlfriend was on the fund raising committee for the Springs Preserve and for the openning weekend she was able to invite friends and family for free. It was really neat. EVERYTHING is made out of recycled materials. All of the electricty is solar and they don't have "air conditioning" is all natural, but still feels cool. All kinds of activities and games for the kids--multiple museums, live desert animals. We had a really fun time. When Madison gets a little older we might get an annual pass. It's not very far from our home. Madison touching this giant ball that moves because of water.

Miss Madison in her B-day outfit

When we were are the Stake Track Meet in May, Kendal gave Madison her B-day present and insisted she open it in front of Kendal. It was this adorable dress and then Kendal made her a matching necklace(with a magnetic clasp) and bracelet and made her this hair bow, which she specially dyed the flower to match perfectly.

However, once she realizes the necklace is on, she quickly takes it off!

Pretty in Blue

Madison looks so pretty in blue with her big blue eyes. Everyone notices those beautiful eyes. She loves drinking from her straw cup and it's so cute to watch her hold it herself.

"Now, what do I have here in my hand?"

Sailor Suit

Just a few pics of Madison in her striped sailor suit. It has little sail boats on the collar.

Chris thought this was so cute--now I'm wondering if I already put this picture on the blog??? We have since lowered her crib as she is now pulling herself up on her knees. But she is a crawling fool--yesterday she was playing in the dining room while I was cooking in the kitchen. I walked into her room and was in her closet and when I turned around...there she was--I was so surprised to see her there. She then proceeded to follow me back to the kitchen then to my room and then back to the living room. She has got it down!
