Before and After
This is our sweet princess before church. I would have to say she looked exceptionally sweet this morning.
After church she was promptly stripped down to eat lunch before her nap. And it was her lucky day. I was making a cake for dinner and she got to lick the batter. I'll have you know there were cherries and chocolate on the beater, so not totally bad...

Utah trip continued...
On Saturday the girls went out to breakfast at Magleby's Fresh (delicious french toast and the yummiest syrup) and the boys golfed. While Madison napped Kendal and I ran to a few stores. The boys went to the football game. We went and visited our friend Carrie who had just had a baby and then we watched the game on TV with Chase and Dana. In these pictures Madison is wearing her other new outfit from Aunt Kendal--she sewed all these button on--isn't it so cute and don't you love her new converse shoes? That evening Madison was just walking everywhere of her own free will.

Our Trip to Utah
We arrived on a Thursday afternoon. We left Madison with Grandma and Chris, me, Kendal, Martin and Chase headed to Seven Peaks. We had fun and I love the new ride "Vortex" and Chase even built it! We had Cafe Rio for dinner to end a great day! Friday we went up to campus to help Chase buy books, browse the bookstore, buy chocolate covered cinnamon bears, look at the newly finished Hinckley building--I love it, and let Madison see the ducks. She has a fascination with birds, but she didn't really understand that these were birds, too because they waddle and swim instead of flying much.

Fruits of my Labor...
The week before we went to Utah, I made jam. I had 25 lbs. of peaches. I made one batch of rasberry/peach freezer jam, two batches of peach freezer jam, three batches of cooked peach jam, and 6 bags of frozen peaches. It took time, but was worth it. The jam is delicious.
This was one of the things Madison did to keep busy while I worked.
