Merry Christmas!

We just want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. We head to Utah tomorrow to spend Christmas with Chris' family and then we come back on Sunday to fly out that night for Washington, D.C. for McKay's wedding. We are so excited for all the upcoming festivities. I will try to take lots of pictures to document everything. We return from D.C. on January 1st!
These pictures were taken right before I took Madison to a special Primary Activity. They invited the nursery kids because Santa was going to be there. Madison was so excited to go to a party at the church. I took her in and she sat down by her friends and I left her for 1 1/2 hours and she had a ball.

These are the only pictures I took of Thanksgiving. Madison helped Grandma make pies. She had fun playing in the flour.

We had such a fun Thanksgiving with all my siblings reunited after 4 years of missions! The girls sure love all their aunts and uncles!

Christmas Ornaments

Each year the girls get ornaments. Here they are anticipating what they will be this year...

Madison loves opening things.

Madison got tigger all wrapped in ribbon.

She helped Claire open hers and it is a baby's first Christmas with Winnie the Pooh & Piglet.

Madison hung hers on the tree.

Madison has loved everything about Christmas this year. Every morning she asks me to turn on the tree lights and then she looks at it and says "it's so beautiful"! She loves all the lights and decorations. We have a advent calendar and Santa leaves Madison a treat every morning and she loves it! I've had so much fun just seeing her love and excitement with everything and she has her own Nativity set and she loves it!

Santa Claus

We took Madison to Santa when we were in New Mexico for Thanksgiving and she went right up and sat on his lap. At the Primary Activity she couldn't wait to sit on his lap again...Claire on the other hand was none to pleased. Before Thanksgiving we fixed out patio as a "play area". We put down a big rug and put Madison's big toys out there. She's been having a ball! She lined up all her animals and dolls.

Tubby Time

This first picture is of Madison when she was just a little baby! The next three are of Claire...she loves being naked and taking baths.

Grandma Rae Dene got Madison a dress with jewels on it. She thought it was like a princess. Madison always wants to take a picture with Claire, but Claire usually doesn't want to!

Where is Claire?

Some of you might remember this picture of Madison...Chris thought it was so funny! So he wanted to try it with Claire. She did not cooperate as well as Madison did.

Cute but Bad Habit

Lately I've caught Claire with her thumb in her mouth just like one of her Auntie's used to. It's super cute, but can be a hard habit to break. These pictures don't do the cuteness factor justice.

Grandma H. got Madison this shirt when we were visiting in October. I love the color and style. My little girl is looking so grown-up!

We got a great deal on this swing and it's been so nice to have another option for Claire.

Sisters

If Claire is awake then Madison is never far. She just can't seem to leave her alone. Claire is more interactive which Madison loves. Claire is a mover...we put her on a blanket and before long she has manuevered herself off. Claire has such a funny look in her eyes.
