Tis the Season

I can hardly believe Christmas is in a few days! I'm not quite sure where the month or year for that matter has gone.  Grandma brought the girls a Holiday wardrobe when she came to visit in November and the girls have been dying to wear their Christmas shirts!  Evelyn has been obessessed with puzzles as of late. 

Lily just turned 4 months.  She went to the doctor and everything checked out good aside from a runny nose that was the start of a terrible little cold!  She weighed 14 lbs. 3 oz. (62%) and was 25 1/2 inches long (90%) and her head was 42 cm (77%).  So she is perfect!  She is laughing more and can hold objects and grabs for them.  She definitely recognizes me and is always happy to see me.  She is sleeping terrible right now--her cold/shots got her all messed up.  I'm hoping after the holidays to get her straightened out again because I'm tired!!  We had a terrible bout of fevers and colds but all are on the mend and we can't wait to enjoy these next few days as a family!

Provo for Thanksgiving

We headed to Utah the Tuesday before Thanksgiving.  We were excited to visit with family.  We had absolutely beautiful weather.  The girls went to the park multiple times.  We had a nice family meal Wednesday night with Matt's family and Ali and Brock.  The girls did a little headband modeling for Ali's shop Notes & Knots .  We had a small group for Thanksgiving dinner just our family, Chris' parents and sister.  Everything was delicious.  We got to meet Sarah's boyfriend later for games.  Aunt Sarah and Grandma Dottie helped the girls decorate giant gingerbread cookies!  Friday we went and saw Frozen (so good) and Grandma Dottie took Madison and Claire to Color Me Mine!  A favorite for my girls.  Saturday we went bowling and watched the football game.  Saturday night Chris and his parents headed to Salt Lake for the BYU basketball game so Brock and Ali came over and we all went to Trafalga and had pizza.  It was such a fun Holiday.  We had a great time!

2013 Christmas Ornaments

Chris went to the BYU vs. Notre Dame game the week before Thanksgiving. While he was gone the girls and I decorated the house for Christmas.  We saved the tree to do with him Sunday night.  They were so excited to get their new ornaments.  Lily got a Baby's First Christmas Rattle, Evelyn got Sofia (which she broke and I can not find another anywhere :( !!) , Claire got a kitchen that looks like her kitchen, and Madison got the Holiday Barbie.  I have two Holiday Barbie ornaments they are a favorite around here.  They all loved their new ornaments!

Girlies

Don't you just love those cheeks? She's starting to be able to hold things in her hands and play with toys.  People comment all the time how smiley she is. 

Trying to get a good picture...not easy.  Evelyn loved wearing this dress.  It is always a favorite.  She wouldn't take it off all day.
