Miss Independent

We were able to enjoy several swim play dates with friends over the summer.  My girls LOVE to swim!  After we got back from NM, Lily decided she was no longer a baby.  She refused to use the high chair and wanted to sit with the big girls...sigh...my baby is growing up and I don't like it!!  And then a few days after this she figures out how to climb out of her crib...we had put all the girls to bed and then I hear giggling from Evelyn and Lily and I thought that Evelyn had gone into Lily's room because she does that sometimes.  I go up to investigate and no it's Lily in Evelyn's room.  Evie says she just walked in.  It was a hard night.  Chris and I putting her back and standing by her door.  She can get out but she can't get back in.  One night we found her asleep in the rocking chair because she was too afraid to come out of her room but couldn't get back in the crib.  There were a few nights when she got up in the middle of the night and came down to my room...and a few mornings when she would just get herself up when she was ready, but now she pretty much just stays in her crib.  It's very rare that she'll climb out!

We tried to trick her into getting back in the high chair...didn't work!  She loves the freedom of a chair!

Tornado in a Jar

 It's safe to say by the expressions on their faces that they enjoyed making a Tornado in a jar!

Dr. visit

Claire had an infected toe nail so we had to go to the doctor to get an antibiotic.  It was slow and the natives were restless!  But we got the meds and her toe got better!  Although she hated the oral antibiotics and it was a fight every day for 10 days!!!!

Glue Art

We tried to do some fun art projects this summer.  We did some glue art and the girls loved it!  We tried to do these while Lily was napping.

More Frozen Party Pics

Chris took some pictures of Evelyn's party for me. It was such a fun party!  I think she felt like a princess.

Splash Pad Fun

We tried to hit the splash pads this summer...not as often as last year...but enough that the girls had fun. Lily really liked it. Last year she didn't get to because she wasn't walking yet, so it was a whole new experience for her!

Evelyn got birthday money from Grandma Rae Dene.  When she went shopping she decided to buy her and Lily a baby doll.  I thought that was so sweet and unselfish of her.  Lily was thrilled!

These four had a lot of fun together this summer.
