Corporate Training:
Driver Assessments: For pre-hire or existing drivers will consist of 2 hours for tractor trailer ($250.00 plus HST). All other vehicle assessments are 1 hour long ($150.00 plus HST).
Hours of Service: An overview of the hours of service rules, including limits, log book/time record completion and record keeping requirements. This session also includes a component on electronic logging devices.
Daily Inspections: An overview of daily inspection requirements based on the training curriculum provided to new MTO and Police inspectors. Includes a driver daily inspection procedure specific to the vehicles being operated and a practical walkthrough.
Cargo Securement: An overview of cargo securement requirements based on the training curriculum provided to new MTO and Police inspectors.
Dangerous Goods: Dangerous goods, abbreviated DG, are substances that when transported are a risk to health, safety, property or the environment. Certain dangerous goods that pose risks even when not being transported are known as hazardous materials. Hazardous materials are often subject to chemical regulations and these materials/regulations will be discussed in class.
CVOR and Driver Abstracts: A session detailing how each works and the ramifications of out of service declarations and convictions for both.
