L.I.F.E and Beyond, Our LUCKY Connect, and LearningEDGE invite you to participate in an exciting hackathon that challenges you to develop innovative solutions to a meaningful issue. The theme of the hackathon will be unveiled during the Kickoff Session on Thursday, March 27th, at 6 PM CST.

Requirements

How It Works
The hackathon is divided into two tracks to accommodate participants with varying skills and interests:

  1. Non-Coding Hackathon (Presentation/Pitch Track)
    Participants will create and present a detailed pitch for a product or service related to the announced theme.

    Submission Requirements:

    • Format: A 5-7 minute video presentation.
    • Content Guidelines:
      • Problem Statement
      • Solution
      • Market Research
      • Business Model
      • Impact
    • Prohibited Elements: Submissions that are overly complex or lack actionable implementation steps.

    Judging Criteria:

    • Problem Identification (20%)
    • Innovation & Creativity (25%)
    • Feasibility (20%)
    • Market Research & Business Model (20%)
    • Presentation Quality (15%)
  2. Coding Hackathon (Product Development Track)
    Participants will design and develop a functional app, game, or software product based on the theme.

    Submission Requirements:

    • Video Submission: A 2-3 minute demo showcasing key features and functionality.
    • Code Submission: Original code files developed during the hackathon period, with proper documentation.
    • Accompanying Document: A brief description of the product and its purpose.

    • Relevance to Theme (20%)
    • Functionality (25%)
    • Innovation & User Engagement (20%)
    • Technical Implementation (20%)
    • Presentation & Demo (15%)
