Our Month in review!

 Anyone that knows Carli, knows that she LOVES her bunny and Minnie and she loves to suck her thumb when she is near them. After a trip to the dentist, we were informed that the habit must end because her teeth are being affected. So the dentist put her on a program called "Thumb Out, Thumbs Up" - when she can fill out a chart for 3 months that she hasn't sucked her thumb, she will get to back to the dentist with her chart and claim the prize below. I've never seen a child so motivated! I also showed her pics of buck teeth on the internet when we got home... that might have helped too.

 I went to Idaho for my Superstar Director Summit training.  It's a great week and always fills me up with inspiration!

 Scentsy's new corporate offices... They also had a dinner for us there.  It was awesome!

 I run a produce co op weekly at my house.  This was half of one delivery!

 An awesome snowcone shop - these snowcones were biggest I've seen!  Also, the finger is mine, after a bee stung me at Lagoon one day - that's the stinger on my finger.  Ick!

A few days before Kait's birthday, she and her best friend Madeline made a mini cake with her easy bake oven... a little pre-birthday cake

 My super sweet friend, Lisa, came over and made Kait's cupcakes for her birthday party! 

 The big thing with the little girls these days is Monster High, so that is what her cupcakes are - florescent yellow and pink frosting with Monster High tags

 We went to a movie theater (a small one at the bottom of a pharmacy), we were able to invite 15 friends and they supplied popcorn, drinks, and candy for all the kids.  It was super cute! 

 The next day, on Kait's actual birthday, we went to a parade and then had Mimi and Grandpa over for Kait's favorite dinner (creamy chicken over rice), and cupcakes.  We also did fireworks! 

Happy 7th birthday Miss Kait! We hope it was the best birthday ever! love you! 

summer fun

As always, we like to keep busy!  Kaitlin wrapped up her first year as a girlscout with a Garden Party at her leaders house.  This has been a great experience for her and she looks forward to next year! They planted basil at the beginning of the year and took care of it all year long,  and then got to water it for the last time and see their efforts.  

 Jackson wanted to show me one day how he can make "ice cream in a bag" as he learned in scouts.  It worked! 

 We decided to go to a fun place called Hollywood Connection with some friends one day.  They had rollerskating there so all of the kids tried it for the first time.  It was sooo funny.  Bless all of their hearts for trying it out.  They want to go back and give it another whirl.  Jackson was pretty good because he has a pair of shoes that have wheels in the bottom of them so he has already mastered the balance thing.

 We have a yearly tradition of going to Delta, Utah to visit our friends that live down there and spending a day at "The Rez" - fun day! 

Got to spend the day boating with some good friends of ours last Saturday.  The kids had a blast! 

We went to our annual trip of Bear Lake last week.  Had a super fun time!  Mimi bought the boys bows and arrows (the tips are rubber on the arrows) the day before at a festival in downtown Salt Lake City, so they had an awesome time practicing when we go to the condo. 

The condo was a little chilly so Jackson decided to jump into my bed and get warm. 

We invited our cousins to come up with us (brian's brother and his wife and their kids) and the kids had a BALL together! :)

We also always meet our good friends from our neighborhood there when we go.  They have a cabin there so they always plan to be there the same week as us so the kids can play and be together.

 We went to the Minnetonka caves near Bear Lake. Pretty interesting! 

 We had to dress warm inside the caves - it was 40 degrees in there!
