Trip Home and our First Week Home

Image
Our last day at Grandma's house, in her beautiful big backyard! Ettie swinging for the first time!

Starting our 13 hour drive home. BEAUTIFUL Spanish Fork Canyon was a great way to start it off.
Utah is the prettiest!

We stopped for 10 minutes to hike to the arch right after the actual national park, that's on the side of the freeway. It was a nice ten minute break. But too steep and high for our girls. So only Pax and Trev made it all the way to the top.

Image
Haddie was NOT happy that Trevor put her down because she was feeling VERY unsure about being up that high on the steep hill.

Trevor's view of us 4 girls from the top looking down.

Made it to the top!

Image
Making our way down with Trevor carrying both girls, while all the Asians watched (in secret awe, I just know it ;)) and looked at us like we are crazy for 1) having four little kids, and 2) Hiking with them the way we were...

Image
Me trying to shield sweet Ettie from the wind as I hiked down. (Trevor's always catching the best moments in our lives, hahahahahah)

Image
Right after we got home to our forest green carpet, we got our shutterfly book I got basically for free with a coupon, that I stuck as many pictures as possible of us over time in. They all love it!

Pax finished up T-Ball this week and got a medal for participating. He loved it and has been carrying it around everywhere swinging it along as he goes...which I just *love*. I found it all alone on the couch today, and considered throwing it away but decided it's too soon. So behind the couch it is. :) No more accidentally swinging into people's faces for a while. :)

Image
Sweet girls love helping me make bread every few days! :) Luckily, they never notice I'm making it until I have all the ingredients in and mixing. Makes for a contention free mother-daughter activity. :)

Image
Haddie has been trying her hardest to play with Ettie at every turn this past week. And she still loves when I take time to let her hold her.

Pax and Phoebe have figured out how to take selfies this week

At the park yesterday in Clovis, NM for our monthly Walmart run

Image
Since Haddie was a baby she has chewed on the corners of her blankets. With this one, she insists on the same corner all the time. This is what the backside of it looks like. The front looks worse. hahaha. We often find her asleep with it still in her mouth.

Image
Phoebe's got the best style! :)

Playing T-Ball in the backyard. Yes, the picture below is pretty much the entire backyard in one picture. It's tiny.

Haddie eating her sandwich outside on the patio. She's the cutest!

Image
Pulled out the jumper my sister gave us a few years ago for Ettie last night. The kids were ALL way excited!

Image
We were invited to go to the First Baptist church tonight to see their kids play/musical called "Treasure Island" where they find that the best treasures are heavenly treasures. It was cute and lots of fun to see. Pax and I went while the girls went to the nursery provided.

Image
Pax loved the two pirates in it and kept saying to me "This is AWESOME!" So glad we got invited, went and had a fun time!
And just like that, I'm caught up! (From May on...;))

Emily's Wedding Celebrations!

Emily and Steven Taylor got married on Saturday May 13th in the Mt Timpanogos LDS temple up the road from my parent's house, but held their reception the night before in Lindon. All the girls in our family got matching skirts from Ritz Boutique (Mommy and Me skirts often found on Jane.com). It was fun! And my mom, made all the flower things. One for all the girls and then for the dads/grandpas/Steve, and the bouquet.

Some pictures from the reception....

Oh yeah, my mom also made the nephews bow ties and all the brothers/brother in laws ties.

Image
Haddie the wild woman, who insisted her skirt stay up so she could run around...like a wild woman. (the grandkids mostly hung out in that Groom's room at the reception center, watching movies which was SO nice so I could focus on talking to people!)

My best friend Peliza made this bow for Ettie to wear! LOVE it!
