Lithium ceramics for tritium breeding

Oxford Sigma’s lithium breeding ceramics are available in a variety of forms, including pebbles, pellets and powders, with a wide selection of compounds available for the highest tritium breeding ratios, including:

  • Lithium oxide (Li2O)
  • Lithium metatitanate (Li2TiO3)
  • Lithium orthosilicate (Li4SiO4)

Radiation shielding solutions for high neutron doses

Radiation shielding solutions are available in a variety of specialist materials designed for high neutron dose environments where absorption is paramount. These include Oxford Sigma’s patent pending tungsten-based solution and lightweight metal hydride solutions. These shielding materials are designed for the highest neutron dose regions such as fusion power plant components; including central columns, and toroidal field coils, across the full range of fusion approaches.
