This fandom has seen more active days, but it's not dead and that's a nice thing.

Quite contrary to the sopranos fandom, a series i got into a week ago. Fandom is dead. What little fanwork remains is... yeah, not enough. So I've been thinking... it's not like the genre of gangster-movies is dead. It's not like everybody has seen those old shows either...

Shows like Breaking Bad are doing great, and I thought it would be a nice thing to somehow merge the fandoms a bit and see what happens.

So I made this community on dreamwith about Organized Crime in TV-Shows - hopefully it'll attract fans from old and new shows and the older shows might find a little revival with new people discovering them and older fans rediscovering them!

"You trust me, don’t you?”

Miguel had to laugh at that.  “I just met you, Irish.”

“You do trust me.  I felt it last night.  You told me things you don’t tell a stranger.  And I told you things, too.  You trust me to do the right thing.  I can feel it in my bones.”  Ryan paused for a moment, dropping his eyes briefly.  When he looked back up, Miguel could see pain in his eyes, and a fierce determination.  “You know what’s at stake here for me.  I need this money – my brother’s life is riding on this.  I’m not going to take chances with that.”

Alvarez shook his head.  This didn’t make sense to him, but he could feel the sincerity in O'Reily’s words.  “Huberto…”

“Hubert is an asshole, and you know it.  If we do it the way I say, we’ll come out of there with every single one of those diamonds. If we do it the way Hubert says, we’ll be lucky to even see the diamond at the fucking Little League baseball field.  We can do it if we do it together, as partners.  We’ll both get what we need.  But you have to believe in me.”

O'Reily stepped in and wrapped his hand around the back of Miguel’s neck, bringing their faces close.  His bright green eyes burned into Miguel’s and he felt like he was falling away, swallowed up by O'Reily’s intensity.  He obviously believed he could trust Miguel, and Miguel wanted to be worthy of that trust.

He wrapped his hand around O'Reily’s neck, mirroring his stance.   

“I must be loco, man, but I do.  I do believe in you.”

So I've been quickly burning through the whole series of OZ since the beginning of the semester once my Mom bought it for me since it was cheaper to buy all the DVDs instead of renting them from Video American, our local 3 store chain video store.

I'm already on Season 5.
I just watched episode 5, Wheel of Fortune and goody goodness was it well written! A+++ to the writers.

I'll be honest, Ryan O'Reily got me to tears by the time the credits rolled. When I first started watching OZ I didn't like him cause see seemed like a two-timing wise guy but wow has his character developed. There are so many great characters in OZ it's hard to pick a favorite but the O'Reily brothers a certainly high on the list.

Don't tell me what happens next! But uuuuggg! I don't see a good outcome in any way the wind blows.
