In our Education Programme, we do not provide “supplementary support” to the curriculum. We restore learning to its natural place: a living experience that starts from children’s own lives from their everyday questions, their environments, and the reality they navigate beyond the classroom.
We work to reduce learning loss and improve attainment through remedial learning sessions built on exploration and collaborative learning sessions that turn academic skills into practical tools for life. At the same time, we address the psychosocial dimensions that accompany learning because a child does not learn under pressure the way they learn in a safe, supportive space.
We place marginalized and at risk groups at the heart of our interventions, and we invest in youth by preparing educational facilitators with the skills to design safe and motivating learning environments and to identify learning gaps and turn them into real pathways of progress.
Our work does not stop with the child. We deliver awareness and capacity building sessions for parents and teachers because continuity is not built inside a lesson alone, but within the home, the school, and the wider community.
We also activate community based education by engaging youth and local resources to support learning and by building community protection systems that strengthen continuity and psychosocial wellbeing so that learning does not remain a passing event, but a steady pathway that grows with children.
From within this approach, “Darb” emerged as a developmental initiative within the organization, and later evolved into an independent platform that supports students and youth in discovering their interests and capabilities through practical tools and real world learning experiences, alongside academic and career guidance that bridges the gap in specialized counselling students face when transitioning from education to professional pathways enabling them to explore options and make more informed decisions about their future.
