Christmas

We were fortunate to have all he kids for Christmas Eve. Some of the traditions we do is possibly have homemade tamales. Well we had not found someone who was making them this year. So while I was shopping at Costco they were demonstrating some tamales. Ha I was happy!! And I was really surprised they tasted good. So Janica was the really helper in getting our menu for the evening. Chicken tacos etc... mexican dinner.  And then we get a knock at the door the neighbors brought us some homemade tamales. But there was only 6. We had a fun evening eating. The only bad thing is that we could not have our fire pit and roast our marshmallows and read our book "Twas the night before Christmas" It was a no burn day! Really!!

We did open gifts from Jaylyn and Jacob because they spent Christmas Day with Jacobs family and we wanted them to see us open them with them their.

The kids this year decided to make their exchange with making their gifts homemade. I believe they did a great job in doing that!!

Celebrating Easton's 2nd Birthday

Celebration Easton's birthday was so fun. They had his party at Amazing Jake's. He and everyone one else had a ball playing there. They got to ride the rides which Breken had fun. So did Easton. Going from ride to ride. We ate pizza. And he had fun opening up his gifts!!

Gingerbread Houses

Ok this was our first tradition of the Christmas season. And one we will keep doing. It was fun making our houses. Brittney and I bought ours at Walmart as a kit. Much easier to make. Cam and Janica did theirs by hand. They were gluing theirs together with a glue gun. It was fun to watch them do it. Easton had fun eating the candy. Jaylyn and Jacob could not make it. But next year for sure. Cam made chili for dinner.

Temple Lights With Activity Day Girls

So I have been called to serve with the 8-9 year old Activity Day girls. Fun age and hey are some of the same girls I had in Primary. So this was their activity they did. I have not been to see the Arizona Mesa Temple lights for a couple of years. Its so close but hard to make it to!!  So at least I took some pictures of the grounds so say I was there his year if I don't make it back with Dave or the kids. It was on a Wednesday night. So there was a lot of youth there seeing the lights. Young Women Young Men night. It was fun to stroll around with these girls.
