Just like the profile states, my name is Kate and I like to play me some Sims 2. I didn't ever think I would recolor enough meshes that I would need a content list, but there you go!
For my hair recolors, I always use textures by pooklet.
As a recolor and creator, I'm a minimalist, and intend to cater primarily to players looking for high-quality recolors without a mess of shades to slow down your 'bins. I'd love for my game to be able to handle hair meshes like that, but man, it just doesn't -- and I imagine I'm not the only person in that situation. So this is for you.
Most recent uploads are credited to [tranquilized] or some shortened variation thereof; older uploads may be tagged as Kate, offthelights, or downthelights.

As of 2012, I'm currently inactive as a recolorer and content-maker for Sims 2. I still play, but very little, and that small sliver of time doesn't justify continuing to make and edit content. First and foremost I want to say, thank you to anyone and everyone who has visited and downloaded, both from here and from my old GoS posts. While most of my content in this journal was posted to mediafire, my box downloads have gone over 10,000, for designed sims, sim parts, and hair recolors. Any time I see someone using my creation, I know the time I spent was totally worth it.
This was an amazingly fun hobby full of wonderful people. I had such a great time. Maybe sometime, (when I'm not using a laptop from 2007, even though it is a beast of a machine) I'll be playing TS3, and start making things again! That would be great.
