The Carnegie Science Center, USA is a premier institution focused on inspiring curiosity and advancing knowledge in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). Through interactive exhibits, hands-on learning experiences and educational programs, it engages individuals of all ages and empowers educators to foster innovation and critical thinking.
Teachers will embark on a year-long professional development journey designed to elevate teaching quality. This program includes five key interventions throughout the year. The journey begins with a one-day virtual workshop by Carnegie Science Center, focusing on self-evaluation and effective teaching strategies. Teachers will then engage in two hands-on experiential learning sessions, followed by a virtual follow-up session to reinforce learning. The program concludes with a reflection session to assess progress and refine teaching practices. Throughout the year, teachers will continuously integrate these insights into their daily classroom teaching.

Param will play a key role in mentoring them throughout the year—offering continuous support, feedback sessions, necessary AI tools, experiential learning through hand-on workshops and resources to ensure effective implementation. Additionally, Param will facilitate a live classroom session with Carnegie experts, ensuring real-time guidance and refinement of teaching strategies. Through this engagement, teachers will not only enhance their own teaching practices but also contribute to building a culture of high-quality, reflective teaching in their schools.
All teachers trained through this model will receive a Param–Carnegie Certificate, endorsed by the
Carnegie STEM Excellence Pathway.

The trainers are professionals with a strong foundation in education, holding a B.Ed. degree, and often a Master’s in STEM or education.
They come with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on teaching or training experience, bringing practical insights into every session.
