Iruka birthday celebrations [KakaIru version]
Iruka's birthday: May 26th 2019

This is an interest check for a Iruka Birthday Celebrations Fest :3

Everyday, from May 01st until May 26th (or for as many submissions as I can get), I will reveal a fanfic or fanart in an AO3 collection that I will create. The theme for the works should be "Iruka's birthday" and they have to be KakaIru/IruKaka.

Suggestions for other themes are totally welcomed!!!

Also, despite being in fandom for so long, this is the first time I'm organising something like this, so there will probably be a lot of hiccups along the way so apologies in advance m(._.)m

All of a sudden, I've gotten emails from LJ saying that people who haven't posted in years are posting again! Maybe I, too, should actually start posting real stuff instead of just letting twitter populate this for me.

That said, I've never really enjoyed how tumblr worked. I found it really unwieldy and difficult to post. Of course, thousands of people managed to use it with no issues, so that's probably my old ass being crotchy.

Given the "influx" users, maybe I should put this back as a public journal? I do miss interacting with people in a not-so-immediate way. Like, a comment on a 10 day old journal post? SURE. Being able to easily hold conversations with people and being able to join in easily? SURE. Being able to do private AND public posts in ONE account. OMFG. YES

Sure, it's not that easy to share posts/re-blog, but I can live without that. In fact, I prefer it, I guess? At least it'll be easier to track back to the original post.

But it seems like more people are posting on DW (at least fandom-wise) so I could also probably post there and then have it repost here... but that's troublesome to set up (still not used to DW yet)

Also, I have a permanent account here. So that totally trumps other things hahahaa

*coughs*
