The <a href="https://obsproject.com">OBS Project (Open Broadcaster Software)</a> is a project for free and open source tools that people have been using since 2012 to broadcast their content to the world through livestreams and recordings.  OBS allows users to capture video from a variety of sources, such as computer screens, games, cameras, capture devices, and composite them together into professional-looking productions that are used to entertain, teach, and inspire.  It has formed the bedrock for creators to launch entire careers broadcasting to their audiences on platforms like Twitch, YouTube, Mixer, and more. The primary goal of this Patreon is to ensure the continued development of the project, and allow the project to operate more efficiently.  Developing, maintaining, and managing the project and its various features takes a significant amount of time, and I want to ensure that I am able to continue doing this full-time for as long as I am able, as well as delegate important and difficult tasks to qualified people that I can pay to help the project run more efficiently. No matter what you decide, I'm very grateful that you read this and that you gave this serious consideration.  Whether you're a big or small streamer or YouTuber, you are what made this project possible in the first place.  You have changed my life for the better; the community that has been created around the project is phenomenal.  I will always be grateful for all the support you've given to me over the years.  Thank you so much for using my humble program, I love working on it, and I want to continue improving and refining it as long as I am able.
