Christmas Party
I asked Megan if there is anything to say about our ward Christmas party.
It was crazy.
There was a lot of people.
Megan helped cut the ham.
She burned herself.
Maddie fell on her head.
The dessert was good.
I'll add that Santa came and the girls were very excited to see him...not scared.

Thanksgiving
Even though the Harry-Hermione scene was a little disappointing after all the hype, we had an awesome Thanksgiving. The masterful chefs were, well, masterful. And the grub was just as it should be on the day we celebrate food. The kids had a blast with playing with cousins, "helping" decorate for Christmas, and making s'mores by the fireplace. In the end I came to the realization that I'm thankful for days centered around what's for dinner.

Forgotten memories
Connor was blessed with many great things, and I know he is a bright and humble spirit and his Heavenly Father loves him and has a plan for him. Connor will be a beacon of light to the people around him as he grows up. I am so grateful that the Lord has blessed us with this little guy.
Not gonna lie, I am still feeling the baby fat, so I only post the last pic because everyone else looks so cute. (This is also the weekend that Maddie got a black eye. She fell down the basement stairs from top to bottom and smashed the side of her face right on the bone outside the eye. The black eye was inevitable. It was so sad. I saw the whole thing happen and I couldn't get to her fast enough...my poor baby! But it was gone in a week. And she's fine again.)

Goodnight
Her day ended trying to sneak her bag of ring pops, Connor gifted her, into bed. The crackling of the bag she was trying to cuddle gave her away.
Maddie came into our life much sooner than we had planned, and I'm eternally grateful that breast feeding + birth control couldn't stop her from coming to this family when she was supposed to. I love her genuine laugh + the way she lays her head on my shoulder and tucks her hands into her body as she melts in my arms. She's my baby girl, and she's growing up.
Treehouse
Just got back from the Treehouse in Chestnut Hill. We've been wanting to hit this place up for some time since your kids can play while you eat in peace. Amazing how nice that can be. Thanks to the friends who could make it out to celebrate with us!
Live Blogging on Maddie's Birthday
Maddie turns 2 today and we are live with the events of her day. She just opened a present from Hallee, a bath time Ariel doll, before their bath.

Megan's 27
There are probably studies that have been done that show not a single person in the south eastern region of Pennsylvania has remembered their 27th birthday, even the day after. With this birthday being so insignificant it didn't matter that i would be at school all day, and taking Megan out to dinner on Saturday was good enough. But I love Megan and she is the most significant thing in my life. So any day that celebrates her birth is a big deal and classes need to be blown off. The girls and I let Megan sleep in until 8:30--that's right 8:30--while we decorated the house with some balloons and made blueberry pancakes and a smoothie.

After the breakfast in bed we got our work out on, and we'd need it for what lied ahead. Birthday lunch was at BBP and where some of the most delicious things imaginable were stuffed into our bocas.

After the burgers put us into a hibernation we woke up to be fed some more yummy food brought over by a friend. To cap the evening off we went bowling, and let Megan win because I'm thoughtful like that, and then got some DQ on the way home. I hope that Megan has the best 27th year ever, she deserves it.
