December

Image MERRY CHRISTMAS!
I revived the blog and added some posts to bring us up to date. We have been so blessed this year with a new home and a new job, but we miss all of our friends who have been and are now far away from us. Please know we love you all and hope you have a blessed New Year!

The Move

Our friend Rebecca and her family are living in our home. We will miss them, all of our friends, and beautiful Kentucky.

We will miss all the green and the magnolia and lilac trees in the front yard. Those scents will always remind me of Kentucky. We will miss this cute little house.

Goodbye Kentucky and little red brick house! This was so hard on our little sentimental Audrie!

The Drivers. Carson and Reed with our friend Sammy. He and his parents, Bryan and Julie, came out from Idaho to help us move across the country. What great friends! Thank you! Thank you!

That car was just as packed when we moved out to Kentucky 7 years ago, it just wasn't being towed by a Penske. 7 years and 3 kids brings in a lot of stuff! Image

Hello, Arizona!

Audrie's First Day of Kindergarten! She was so excited to go. Carson misses her during the day. He can't wait to go to school, mostly to play on the playground.

Not saying how hot it was at 7:30 in the morning in August, but for the first few weeks we lived here, Audrie kept asking, "Why did you and Dad decide to move here?" I said, "For October through May."

I went with my siblings to Reno to visit our Grandma Ross. We were so thankful to have this visit with her as she passed away a month later. We had a fun visit, full of laughter! She had a great sense of humor! We will miss her! But we are so glad she is now in a beautiful place, free of pain and the freedom to talk! (her strokes had taken away her ability to talk for many years) Image

My Grandma always had something to give to the grand and great-grandchildren. She gave these dolls to Audrie out of her huge doll collection. Audrie was thrilled!

This American Girl doll has become such a cute little friend for Audrie.Image

Maybe she'll stop asking for a sister...

Carson was thrilled, too, but don't worry, his excitement lasted for only a short time. I had to rescue the doll a few too many times. Image

Carson loves his gymnastics class. The kid is freakishly strong - thanks to the muscle genes inherited from his mother!Image

The Family Potter. Scott's office did this theme so we went along with this even though the kids kept asking, Who's Harry Potter? Thanks to othe internet, they soon found out how exciting it is to be a Quidditch player and Harry himself (who was having an anti-papparazzi moment). Reed is our baby Dementor. I know, so adorable...no cute little fluffy costumes this year!Image

And in case you need another look at that Hagrid! I mean, how fitting is that?

November

Bike Month at the Price home. Audrie and Carson decided to take off the training wheels on the same day. Audrie couldn't be out done by her little brother - whatever motivates her!

2009 El Tour de Tucson
Scott rode the 80 mile race in 4.5 hours - way to go #8003! (doesn't quite have the same ring to it as #81!)

ImageThanksgiving at Dr. Smith's cabin. We had a blast getting away from the city. The kids loved it - as you can see why...Image Dr. Smith is Scott's new Practice partner. We had a great time getting acquainted with his family.Image
