The remember me box is honoured, if a user un-checks the box, their login will only last for the current session, as usual with WordPress.

Dashboard Stats

Persistent Login keeps track of how many users are being kept logged into your website, counting the logged in users twice a day.

You can see how many users are being kept logged in from your Dashboard, or from the main settings page of Persistent Login.

User login counting is completed as a background task and is completed in chunks, meaning your website isn’t slowed down and it can handle any number of users!

Automatically End Other Sessions

When a users logs into your website and they reach the maximum logins limit, their oldest session will automatically be ended and the user will be allowed to login.

If WordPress’s Heartbeat API is enabled, the old login will receive a notice to let them know that they have been logged out and a prompt to login again, even if they don’t refresh their page!

Session Management

From their profile page, your users can see all of their active sessions, with accurate browser and device sniffing to help them identify which login session is which. With the click of a button, users can end any of their sessions.

Admins also have the option of ending all sessions with the click of a button from the Persistent Login settings page.
