Thank you for writing me a story, and please take most of this as loose guidance. If there’s a burning idea you have, I am probably fine with it, have at it. 

 

Likes:

• Hurt/comfort in general, and emotional hurt/comfort in particular.
• Though a bit of mortal peril never goes amiss.
• Also sickfic, pining, protectiveness… you get the picture.
• I love a classic trope. De-aging, a/b/o, fake dating, time loops, sex pollen, truth spells, soulmate marks, mind-reading bonds, animal transformation, superpowers, thought-you-were-dead, genderswap, mpreg, zombies.
• All AUs are welcome, subtle or ridiculous.
• That said, this universe is rich with opportunity, and I also love it. It contains the actual White House! I am rapt for fic from any era, including a future fic where one of them runs for office.

 

Dislikes:

• Any of the main PODSA people being a truly bad guy. I love fucking up and a redemptive arc, but I am here because I like them all, so true villainy and dickishness from them is not what I want.
• Graphic violence/torture, explicit non-con, humiliation.
• A truly sad ending with not even a spark of hope.

 

Some things I love about these ships: 

 

Jon Favreau/Jon Lovett/Tommy Vietor

 

The ultimate dynamic! All of my favourites are here, and none of them are left out (except for when they are being purposely tormented for the reader's pleasure). They have literally built a whole company where talking to each other is their job, and they spend all day in their specially chosen founder's office, just them and their dogs and a comfortable sofa for three. I live and die for this shit, it's so good. 

I have a powerful longing to see every love triangle rom com out there remade as an OT3 fic.

 

Jon Favreau/Jon Lovett

 

They both like each other so much! Jon thinks Lovett is the funniest person he knows, and Jon is one of Lovett’s favourite audiences. You know that thing they do, the way Lovett is always watching so keenly for Jon's reactions to his jokes, and when the laugh comes, as it always does, sometimes so enthusiastically that Jon can barely sit in his chair, and Lovett is so pleased to have made him happy? That thing. 

 

Also also that gap between how open they are- Lovett making a self-deprecating joke about Favs hiring him and Favs sincerely telling him he’s been sold since the moment they met and he’s never regretted it. I mean. Wow.

 

The dynamic of Favs being Lovett’s boss. I can only imagine they were both bad at it, but apparently they both also enjoyed it enough to bond for life. 

 

 

Jon Lovett/Tommy Vietor

 

Oh my god, they were roommates. 

 

I love the way that they can both be awkward in their own different ways. Some days Tommy is so buttoned up, all banked intensity and poker face, and sometimes he’s funny and silly and quotes the dumbest meme-of-the-day from Twitter and does funny dog voices. Lovett puts so much out there, can be messy and demanding about so many things, and prickly and private and bashful about others, and then unexpectedly so thoughtful and careful. ANWAY you know what I mean. 

 

I adore those times where Tommy literally cries from laughter at Lovett. Or compliments him on Twitter. Or when Lovett muses that Tommy might be quietly really good at art. I think Lovett has a lot of thoughts about how competent and hot Tommy is. 

 

But also, I adore those times when there is that a bit of tension between them. TENSION in the ad readings, and it's hard reading the mood from SF, and Tommy taking Lovett's phone from him and placing it on the table and Lovett happily acquiescing.
 

 

 

Emily Black Favreau/Jon Favreau/Jon Lovett

 

Again, what I love is how much they all like each other, and how fondly they tease each other. Any two of them ganging up to tease/torment/support the other one is always gold. 

 

I would be interested in foregrounding Emily and Lovett’s friendship and relationship, while respecting Lovett’s sexuality, because I'm just fascinated at how different and complicated that dynamic could be, but also love how easy their friendship seems to be. See: Emily being the first one to invite herself round to Lovett's new house, and the two of them shopping together, and every insta story Emily ever made of Lovett. I would also be interested in exploring the potential emotional pitfalls of only two members of the relationship being married and public. 

 

 

Ronan Farrow/Jon Lovett

 

Honestly, they just seem adorable. I am very invested in the idea of these two nerds and their long-lasting, long-distance bicoastal domesticity. They've seemed so happy and open lately, but it has been a long road, and I am interested in all of it. 

 

Would love to know more about two of them meeting in DC, and both of them thinking the other one is out of their league, and somehow ending up in a long lasting LDR after really not that long. Would love some settled relationship fic set in the present day. 

 

I am also there for a wild, out of the box AU where idk, Ronan is Batman or something. There is not that much Rolo AU and that is a travesty.
