A few weeks ago I went to Con.txt (yay!). Where among many other wonderful things, I saw thingswithwings' awesome Leverage vid Parachute. So I says to myself, "Self," I says, "this looks like a show we should watch." And I did. And it is good. Also I have been a little inspired to write a little, so, yay!

I have a history of starting to watch a show anywhere from 2 to 30 years after it finishes airing. I'm OK with this -- it means I get to wallow in season after season (and piles of fic) all at once. I just finished season 2 (my heart!). I know what I'm doing for the rest of the summer month week.

Trying to coax myself back to life here after too many months of being drained by RL. Writing is ... helping? It's fun, anyway.

Here's the story.

... until I realized that in the last 17 months it had counted 5.3 million steps. Plus sporadic use in the couple of years before that; call it 6 million. It outlasted half a dozen pairs of shoes, anyway.

I don't do a lot of real cooking, just very basic stuff. The other day I got it into my head to make crepes, which I haven't made in years. Turned out well! Mmmm. Cream cheese and blueberries for the filling, but I have enough left over to try something else in them for dinner.

"Are you joking?" he asked as he began scrolling through the images. "There's all this art of me and Robert?" Giggles gave way to full belly laughter. A concerned publicist came over, though Ruffalo was laughing so hard that he could barely explain himself to her.

"Is that a cartoon of you?" she asked.

"Yes! It's me and Robert! Look at this! There's thousands of them!" Ruffalo tried to contain himself. "It's called the Science Bros. This is awesome. I've never heard of it. Why hasn't anyone told me about that?"

Just finished my first yoga class ever. It's hard! I don't seem to be very good at breathing.

Still, good experience. I think I'll go back next week.
