After reading senoritamono talk about Guitar Hero and remind me how much I want it, I came home yesterday to find out I got an unexpected check from the IRS (tax refund) and so I rstraight out to buy Guitar Hero for myself. 

I got through the first set of songs last night. So far my favorite has been Thunder Kiss by White Zombie. Kind of interesting to be because I can play this song for real on the guitar and it seemed a little harder on this game LOL. 

The song I was most surprised by was Smoke on the Water... would have thought that way more simple. 

Looking forward to playing some more.

My father is in the hospital. He had a mild heart attack. The Hearth Cath showed that 3 of his arteries are blocked too much for Angioplasty so he will be needing heart surgery. They are going to perform a quadruple bypass. They will be doing this Wednesday or Thursday this week. The Doc told us that he is VERY lucky to be alive and that it was a minor heart attack. The condition of his arteries were so bad that at any time he could have had a major heart attack and would have died before he could have gotten any help.

So the thing he is most bummed about? not working. This happened on his first week back to work and now its going to be 6 months before he can work at any physical level.

Ok... so its been a while since I updated here... here is whats currently happening.

Job - I am currently working for Centura Health. I am working as Tech Support again. While I dont like TS, this job is much better than any TS job I had before. They are more laid back. I have oppurtunities to grow here too.

Living - I am now living with my parents in Aurora. I had to file bankruptcy after getting laid off, so I am just working on digging myself out of my hole and then I will focus on moving into my own place.

Dating - I am still dating Leanne. Things are going really well and It will be 10 months at the end of this month.

Friends - Little Joe is still in the Army, he is going to have to go through training again because of his injuries. JC is workin, I dont talk much to him anymore though. Everyone else is pretty much the same.

Thats about it. I will try and post more often. I do read my friends posts almost daily, I just havent bothered updating. Between here, Myspace, my web site and other stuff, its hard to keep up.
