So this is my epic Middle Earth fanmix for waywardmixes' Places challenge.

So, I heard this theme and knew I had to go with Middle Earth. Because when I think of places that I think music can evoke, Middle Earth locations are what I think of. But I couldn’t just pick one. So I ended up creating this epically long mix about all my favorite Middle Earth locations and totally got really carried away. What I tried to go for was to capture the feeling of Middle Earth and all the different types of places there. I stuck specifically to locations we actually see and learn about in either Lord of the Rings or The Hobbit, even though some of the most interesting places I think are more specific to the Sillmarillion (someday I’m going to make Angband and Numenor mixes). I ended up having to cut it in half, so the other half will be in the social post.

So,

I've got the flu. Yay. Been sick all weekend and still have a fever, so no classes for me tomorrow. Also, the trackpad in my mac is dying. All I can do is move and click. And it only clicks sometimes. I can't drag. Its really frustrating. Have an appointment at the Apple store Tuesday. Hopefully I'm well enough to be able to go.

Anyway, for those who are interested, I'm posting my ridiculously long Skywalker Family fanmix I made for a challenge over at universe_the. Its divided into 5 parts: general family, Anakin and Padme, Luke and Mara, Han and Leia, and the Solo kids. There are a mix of songs for individual characters and for relationships. Its got about 60 tracks because I got carried away (we only needed to spend 3 hours on the challenge).

Ignore the crappy art. That's all I could do without being able to use my mouse properly. I'll edit in new art once I get my computer fixed. And if anyone would like it uploaded somewhere besides Box, I'm happy to do that.
