I found my wallet. It was in the bed (what? huh? go figure. best we can guess is I set my purse down on the bed at some point and it fell out)

After I cancelled all the credit cards.

So I have to wait for all new cards to arrive (d'oh) but at least I don't need to get new state ID, and I had taken out my green card (HUGE RELIEF) and my birth certificate and passport and stored them with other Important Documents after our last trip to Victoria.
